Puts your old cooler to shame.

Stop dealing with cheap coolers that break, leak, and let you down at the worst possible times. The Yeti Tundra 45 Cooler is heavily insulated, UV-resistant, and damn-near indestructible, making it perfect for everything from days on the lake or beach to camping and hunting trips.

Permafrost insulation keeps your 26 cans cold as ice for far longer than standard coolers, and Rotomolded construction makes it grizzly-proof. No, literally. They tested this thing against two actual grizzlies, and when the dust settled, the Tundra 45 was still intact and the bears still hungry.

The Doublehaul handles are made with military-grade nylon rope so you don't have to worry about it breaking when you're halfway between your car and your duck blind. Bearfoot non-slip feet keep your cooler from sliding around the boat, and molded tie-down slots allow for extra security in case you want to use your Tundra 45 as a casting platform while you fish. When the ice finally melts, you can release all the water with a quick twist of the Vortex Drain System.

I think the Yeti name speaks for itself at this point. This cooler really is worth the investment. It holds ice for DAYS. I've been out for 4 or 5 day trips, putting 2 bags of ice in on day one, and still had to dump actual ice cubes out when I returned home. That's something I've never experienced with a cooler. I'm used to buying a bag a day or every other day at best. The durability on this thing is also beyond expectations. It is grizzly tested and approved. Simply throw some locks on (has built in holes to lock) and you don't have to worry about any critters, big or small, getting in.

I strongly recommend these to anyone and would love to answer any questions, so feel free to reach directly out.

    Believe the Hype

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I can understand why people would be hesitant to shell out over 300 bucks for a cooler, but there's simply no denying the quality of Yeti products. This thing is literally built like a tank. It's heavy, thick, and truly does keep your stuff cold for days.
If you're going out for a camping trip and want to keep your food and drink cold the whole time, this cooler is the ticket.

    Best cooler ive ever owned

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This cooler blows all my previous coolers out of the water. Everything about it screams quality. Its a bit spendy but after destroying multiple other coolers we decided to give this one a shot and so far its been amazing. I would suggest going up one size from whatever size you think you want since the inside can get a little cramped with how beefy the side walls are.

    Mini Tailgate Fridge

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This cooler definitely came in handy for a couple of hokie games I've attended. It held at least 1/4 of our refrigerator! The wife and I were very satisfied.

What's cooler than being cool? Ice cold!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this Yeti as a gift for my girlfriend. Until now we've had generic coolers from Target or Costco. We had been eyeing Yetis for about a year when I decided to get this one.

It has been the best investment. It can easily fit a couple of six packs, snacks, condiments, and more for a weekend trip. Or just a bunch of drinks for a day or two on the lake and everything stays so cold. It was totally worth the money.

    Perfect Day Trip Cooler

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a perfect day trip cooler with enough space to fit two six packs, a couple sandwiches, with two Yeti ice packs on top, and room left over. Not too big and not too small, just perfect. Keeps food and drinks cool all day and night.

    So Stoked!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We bought this as a high end gift for a silent auction and my amazing father-in-law bought it and gave it back to us. I've only had the opportunity to use it once but I can't tell you how impressed I am with it already. It seems super durable and it literally kept ice for days! Love the handles and the non-slip bottom as well. Can't wait to drag this along with us on all of our adventures.

    Better than my Fridge

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I just got my Yeti and absolutely love it. Not only can it double as a casting platform (for my future skiff), but it kept my beverages colder than my fridge does!

Used it for 3 days in 100 degree desert heat with 2 lbs of ice. 2 days after we got home I was still grabbing drinks out of the Yeti instead of the fridge because they were colder.

I plan on getting the Yeti Ice blocks just for easier maintenance. If you don't pre-chill everything it melts the ice quicker, but still stays just as cold. I highly recommend this cooler.

    Fantastic Investment

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

A bit more costly than your average cooler, but because this is NOT your average cooler.. Don't be disappointed when you see that the space inside is a bit smaller than you anticipated, but with good purpose as it will keep your stuff cold for days. The 45 is perfect for throwing in the backseat of the extended cab.

One of the Best Gifts to Give

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gifted the Yeti 45 to my sister and brother-in-law as a late wedding gift. My sister had never heard of Yeti before but my brother-in-law was well aware of Yeti from all the boating and ice fishing he's done.

He was pretty stoked to receive it because it was just in time for all the boating they had planned for the summer.

A few of the things they said they really loved were as follows:

With the super thick walls this thing can sit in the sun and the beer inside still stays cool.

At 45 liters, the overall cooler looks like a great size but then you open it up and the space seems smaller but is perfect for a day of boating.

Super easy to move around since it's not as big as the Yeti 65 that I gave to my Dad & Mom.

Overall they love there Yeti45 and will have it for years and years to come. Solid investment.

One of the Best Gifts to Give

    Best. Cooler. Ever.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After owning this cooler for a few years I can honestly say that it will be impossible for me to ever switch to anything else. The price of the cooler is steep, but once you have one you quickly see that it is worth it.

In the back of the truck I can go days with cold drinks. DAYS!!! Not just one day then it is just cool water, but I am talking 3-4 days in the summer of cold beverages. The yeti also helps me be extremely lazy at work. I can fill it with drinks and ice on Sunday, and by Friday I still have cold drinks in my more risking someone stealing my drink from the work fridge!

The tray that comes with the cooler is extremely useful in keeping things dry that you do not want to get wet. It also helps to compartmentalize things as you fill it.

I cannot recommend this cooler enough. One day I will save up to get another one!

    best cooler on the market

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i have the 20, 45, 65 and 120 Yeti coolers. They are all amazing.

Super thick insulation all over, including the lid, which is important. The lid is strong enough to stand on, and is textured for doing so. (They do that so you can stand on it and sight fish off a boat)

Freezer style and high quality seal. Theyre replaceable, but Ive never had one go out. The rope handles can be easily and cheaply replaced, and they do wear out from time to time.

They have holes in the corners to lock them with a Masterlock. Ok, thats important! If you ever leave these coolers in the bed of your truck, they will be stolen. Ive had one stolen. So, use the holes and lock them to your tie downs with something stout. Also, prevents people at tailgates from stealing your booze once youre in the game.

Theyre totally worth it. And, they have a great warranty. To tell you how I got hooked on them, and to tell you how durable they are:

I was in a truck in BFE with a few buddies. Tons of stuff in the bed for a camping trip, including an Igloo and a Yeti... We came around a corner, elk in the road. Driver swerves, off the road we go. Truck rolls. Thank gosh, all had on seatbelts. We get out. Lick our wounds. Gear is everywhere. The Igloo is in pieces... The Yeti never even OPENED, much less got destroyed. Been a fan ever since.

Now, helpful hint... In the summer, to make ice last the longest possible - prep your cooler before filling. Use dry ice and cool the inside down. Then, fill the cooler and ice the contents down. It will add a day or two to the ice. Also, remember, the more full a cooler is, the easier it is to keep cool. So, pack it to the top with food, ice, beer, whatever. But, the fuller the better.

Jess Dunn, thats a hard one to answer. Depends on time of year, weather, location (shade or no shade) and some other factors.

Winter, if prepped and packed properly, 2 weeks is doable.
Summer, in the bed of the truck, 3-4 days is doable in 100* weather, if youve packed and prepped the cooler correctly.
