    Protect your lunch.

There's nothing worse then reaching into the cooler and pulling out a lukewarm soda or soggy sandwich, but the Yeti Roadie 20 Personal Cooler will make such problems a thing of the past. It holds more than enough for a day at the job site, on the water, or at the golf course with a rugged Rotomold design that can take a serious beating without denting or breaking. PermaFrost insulation seals in all your precious cold, while the No-Sweat design keeps condensation at bay and the Bearfoot non-slip feet mean you won't spend all your time making sure your cooler doesn't slide away. Yeti built in a Vortex drain, too, so you can easily dump water when it's time to pack up and go.

    • Ultra-insulating and virtually indestructible cooler
    • PermaFrost insulation holds ice for days
    • ColdLock gasket and InterLock lid lock in cold and seal out heat
    • NeverFail hinge system won't break over time
    • BearFoot non-slip feet keeps cooler in place
    • DoubleHaul handles made from military-grade rope
    • Vortex drain system quickly and easily releases water
    • T-Rex heavy-duty rubber lid latches won't break

    Worth the premium

It's hard to know why Yeti is so praised until you actually have one. It performs substantially better than all the cheap coolers that have cycled in and out of my life. The straps make it easy to carry - this size in particular, easily handled by one person. We freeze the cooler itself with a little water in the bottom before taking it on long trips - it's can really run the distance!

      As Good As Expected

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is our 3rd Yeti cooler - we're using this for day trips/post-run or hike beers, etc. So far, so good! Nothing better than knowing you have a cold beverage waiting for you at the car. This size is perfectly portable, and still fits a good amount of food/drinks.

      The Best

Yeti makes expensive coolers but they are well worth it. You will keep ice in there for much longer than with any other cooler. it looks good and functions as it should. Will buy another for the boat.

        The Best

This is my third Yeti cooler. These keep ice for a long time and they're tough as all get out. I got this one to keep cold drinks at the car for post hike hydration. Also works to keep freshly caught trout cold on the ride home. Great product.

Our 2nd Yeti within 3 Weeks.

My fiance and I went on a camping trip in Upstate NY with a campsite that was only accessible via boat - being all we had was a canoe, and more people that could fit in the canoe at one time, it made having a Yeti totally worth it. We avoided many extremely long paddles back to shore by having this cooler as it held ice for 5 days - one of those days was in the back of a jeep in the mid-Atlantic heat & humidity. We originally purchased the Yeti 35 for Camping, and while it worked great - it really only held our beverages (about 36 beers).. We just needed a little extra space for food. We purchased the Roadie for our next trip remote trip/camping trip so we can have the 35 for all of our beverages and use the Roadie for all of our food. The Roadie also works great for apartment living - if you happen to live in a complex that has a grilling area, it makes loading it up with food and beer much easier then hauling my big and heavy 35 down flights of stairs to the car then to the area.. etc. The roadie is also great for any last minute trips to hockey games, a beach day, concerts, and day trips in general. I have no complaints other then there seemed to be some small fine scratches along the sides.. not really worth the hassle of the return but Yeti should really package their coolers better for the price you pay for them.

Don't listen to the haters on these products - I honestly never really understood the fans behind this brand until I purchased one. They make great camping gear for being around a fire between their mugs and coolers.

        Ice for Days

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great for apres at the car or going light on the refrigerated foods in the desert. Fits about one bag of ice and a 12-pack of beer - or one bag of ice plus hot dogs, brauts, fresh veggies, and creamer for coffee. Kept the ice cold for 4days in 90+ degree weather.

        5 Days in Death Valley

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great capable cooler that will fit your pickup truck bed very well. I did an overlanding trip across Death Valley this past summer with temperatures averaging well above 100 degree F during the day and 90 at night. This little cooler kept ice in it the whole trip. The sturdy construction gives you peace of mind when stacking other equipment on top of or around the cooler, especially in the back of a truck where things tend to shift on bumpy roads. It's bear proof too. Haven't tested it yet though. ; )

Keeps cold and sized for the road

The Yeti Roadie 20 Cooler performs like you'd expect from a Yeti but is small enough to carry around. The carrying handle is beefy and makes it easy to pull the Roadie 20 in and out of the car, which is good because like other Yeti's, the Roadie 20 is quite heavy for it's size (which is partly why it insulates so well).

          Great Little Cooler!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using it for an extended road trip & it's proven perfect for 2 people. There's enough space to keep everything we want chilled, but doesn't take up too much room in the car!

Also, things stay exceptionally cold for an exceptionally long time!!

          Ice for days

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Filled this guy up with hot dogs, beer, and a bag of ice on a Friday afternoon and head out to the desert, when I got back Monday there was still ice, let it sit for a few days and it was Wednesday evening before it all melted.

          What are you waiting for?

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The question is not whether you need this cooler, but rather how can you possibly live your life without this cooler? This is the perfect size for road trips and you can count on having cold drinks at any time. This cooler is solid and functional and yes, it may be pricey, but it is worth every penny.

          Awesome Coolers!!!

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought the Tundra 65 in white and the Roadie in tan. I will say these things are built like a tank. Probably the last coolers I buy unless I decide to get a bigger one. The 65 was perfect for a 3 day camping trip for my wife, daughter, and I. It held plenty of food and drinks for all 3 of us. I must admit I had the Roadie packed with beer to help. I would definitely want a bigger one for any longer than 3 days though. We got the Roadie for the all day in and out drink cooler so we wouldn't keep opening the food cooler. The surface temperature of the different colors is definitely worth noting. When both of them were in direct sunlight, the tan one was hot to touch while the white one was always cool. That's what I had anticipated and why I bought the colors in the sizes I did. The larger white one will usually just be in the bed of my truck or nearby at the campsite while the tan Roadie is what we drag everywhere. The tan definitely hides dirt much better than the white one. So get the white if you're looking to conserve ice and get the tan one if you are going to get it filthy. Jared Downs at Backcountry.com helped me out by getting it to me on time before I left for our trip. I have been dealing with Jared over the years for everything I buy from Backcountry and he has always been awesome. He has great product knowledge and always helps me find the best deal. I can't say enough good things about him. Plus he always has cool pictures of his latest adventures.
