    Keep it cold

Save yourself some time and money by switching from regular ice to this reuasble phenomenon! If you are using 2 bags of ice each time with your Yeti, this will have paid for itself after 5 trips! Plus it stays colder much longer. Check out the configuration guide on Yeti's site to perfectly stock your Yeti cooler.

      Keep it cold

      Better Than Ice

Tested these out by leaving them in a Yeti cooler alongside some regular block ice I made in large plastic containers. Came back 3 days later, these were still mostly solid, and the water ice was completely melted. Durable and reusable. I'm a fan.

        Awesome!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like to put the 4lb Yeti Ice on the bottom of my hopper, add beverages, and then put ice on the top. When the ice starts to melt, it actually freezes to the Yeti Ice, creating almost a big block of ice around your drinks. Keeps the ice all weekend... Yesssss!

Yeti Ice - Frozen all day

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love Yeti products and the Yeti Ice is no different. It stays frozen and cold all day long, and it keeps the food and beverages cold and delicious all day long too!

        Fits nicely in YETI coolers

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Fits perfectly in the YETI Roadie 20 and YETI Hopper Flip 12.

Fast freezing reusable ice. I've found these nice to just have in the freezer ready to go for those impromptu adventures or family outings. I don't have to worry about having soggy sandwiches or making an extra trip to the store to get ice.

        Yeti Ice - brrrrr

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Yeti Ice - I picked up the 4 and 2 lb for my Tundra. Whatever the chemistry, Yeti has perfected a liquid that stays frozen longer than anything else on the market today. The two fit perfectly in my Tundra 45. Highly recommend Yeti ice!

        Keep Your Food Cold

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've got a few of the 2lb'ers and the 4lb'ers of the Yeti Ice blocks stored in my freezer for when I want to leave town with food but not buy some ice.

        Cost:
At about $30 they are a bit spendy compared to $1-3 for a bag of ice, but the upside to this 4lb ice block is they're reusable and if you use them more than 30 times you'll save money after that from not needing to continue buying ice for each time.

        No Mess:
When ice melts it turns to water and fills the bottom of your cooler. If you don't pay close attention to the food along the bottom of your cooler, you might just drowned the food and make it all soggy. But with this pack there are no chances of that since you aren't left with a puddle of water.

        Modularity:
This is my only complaint is that is you put a bunch of these along the bottom of my Tundra 45 cooler they don't fit flat. One is resting on another and wasting space. I wish Yeti did a better job with modularity of their parts and created a standard across their product line.

Yeah I still stand behind my comment of the lack of this being modular. Two 4lb ice blocks don't work well in a Tundra 45. They don't lay flat on the bottom or work well with a basket if stored on edge.

        Ice Upon Ice Upon Ice

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These Yeti Ice products do what they simply - keep ice cold for longer. Throwing this ice pack in with either a few blocks in a big cooler, or a bunch of cubed ice in a smaller cooler has made a noticeable difference.

Looking to keep ice for an extra couple of days on a river trip, or make the beer cooler last all day? Might as well grab one of these..

        Iccccceeeee

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Freezes fast and keeps my brews extra cold.
Looks like it'll hold up to some serious abuse just like the rest of Yeti's products.

        IT'S ICE!

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have 2 of these and I'm not sure if I am happy or disappointed with my purchase yet. I want to give it another go before being excited or not that I spent money on ice. They take a while to freeze solid. I would suggest keeping these in the freezer for a few days before going anywhere. With that said, I froze mine overnight before a weekend trip & when I got back I still had ice in my cooler but I noticed both of the 4lb blocks were in liquid state. Again, not sure if this is my error not freezing long enough before hand but I'll keep you posted on our next use if these are even worth the price. Love the cooler, just maybe not this product.

        Perfect for Any Cooler

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have two for my Yeti 45. Perfect size and easy to stack vertically or lay on top of drinks to keep them ice cold. Much better than melted ice and unnecessary unless you are trying to keep meat or fish frozen. The Yeti ice packs are just a much better alternative to buying real ice and then draining and cleaning out the cooler if all you;ve done is just keep a few drinks and food cold.

How may of these would it take to keep a Yeti 65 cold?

        Hey Jas,

If you are just lining the bottom of the cooler with these packs you could use 2-3 packs in the Yeti 65. If you were wanting more cooling than 2-3 packs would offer you could likely fit 4-5 of these in the cooler with plenty of room for beer and food.
