ASR Turq Mountain Bike Frame

Revised, refurbished, and reborn, the ASR is back and faster, lighter, and more capable than ever. The ASR is the lightest full-suspension bike Yeti has ever produced, and getting there wasn't an easy task. Aggressive frame revision, material elimination, and a unique carbon layering process combine to bring us an incredibly lightweight four-pound frame with a rear shock. In addition, size-specific carbon layups optimize frame material for the ideal stiffness for every sized frame, and a refined rear axle and suspension linkage reduce excess material for more weight savings. An updated Flex Stay suspension system brings us XC racing-focused suspension performance that transforms our energy into forward momentum while providing exceptional small bump sensitivity and traction. The ASR was designed around a push sag setting, a linear 10 percent progression rate, and a custom-tuned RockShox SidLuxe 3-position rear shock, giving us an efficient sprinting and climbing platform that makes it easy to access full travel when we are bombing for the finish line. A 66.5-degree head tube angle paired with a forward-biased position ensures the perfect balance between agile handling and stability in steep terrain. The low bottom bracket height allows us to blast through berms and down steep terrain confidently, while the 75.5-degree seat tube angle gives us a centered position over the pedals for efficiency when climbing. The finishing touches on the ASR include two water bottle mounts inside the front triangle, tubed internal cable routing with dedicated suspension lockout routing, an integrated rear mud fender, integrated downtube protection that doubles as a cable access door, an integrated and optional chain guide, and a SRAM UDH derailleur hanger.
