A fixed height of 13in provides a low center of gravity for when you're crawling over rocks on a dicey trail, and an aluminum construction keeps things lightweight. When the seasons change or you need to haul big items in your truck bed, the rack takes minutes to attach or detach, thanks to the Quickchange system. Pair with the Yakima Sidebar mount (sold separately) to mount accessories like gas cans, water jugs, or anything else you may need for exploring the backcountry.
