    Lighten your dropper actuation.

Seeing that many droppers have finicky actuation that's much too difficult to initiate, the savvy riders at Wolftooth Components designed the Light Action ReMote for lighter, smoother throws of the dropper lever. This light and smooth actuation is possible thanks to a longer lever arm, which creates more leverage for less force required before your dropper starts to lower and raise in height. It's compatible with all cable-actuated dropper posts on the market, allowing you to scrap the stock remote for this beautiful lever.

Wolf Tooth recommends measuring the distance from the pivot center to the end of your current dropper lever before settling on this remote. If this distance is greater than 52-millimeters, the Light Action is best, where shorter distances between pivot center and lever end are suited for Wolf Tooth's Standard Remote. It's available in a myriad of clamp mounting options for keeping your cockpit tidy. UpFront cable fixing makes for quick and easy installation, due to the dropper cable being attached at the lever. Another benefit, it has a solid-mounted barrel adjuster for making on-the-fly adjustments.

    • Low-profile, light-actuation lever for greater control
    • Works with cable-actuated dropper posts (not RockShox Reverb)
    • UpFront cable fixing for quick and easy installation
    • Cable-kind clamp won't damage cables
    • Breakaway axle pivot in case of crash
    • Solidly mounted barrel adjuster
    • Designed and manufactured in the USA

    Works great

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Like first reviewer, I got the surprise of having no lever included with my Fox Transfer seat post purchase. Being a newly converted roadie, it would have been helpful to list that fact on the Transfer web page. As it turns out, the Wolftooth is apparently a better option anyway, intuitive easy action to activate Seat post. I clamped it direct to bar. Install was easy too.

    Perfect integration on Shimano

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this to go with a Fox Transfer post because a lever was NOT included. The lever works perfect with my Shimano Spec II brakes and I like the little touches that Wolf Tooth adds to the lever such as the machining on the lever surface and a shortened throw which works great with the Fox Transfer.
If you find yourself needing a lever for your cable actuated post, I give this one two thumbs up. Just be sure that your post will work with the shortened throw of this particular lever.

    Good So Far

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I picked this up recently after my Fox Transfer lever broke. It was easy to install and functions very smoothly. I especially like the large, textured feel to the lever and how solidly it's built. Just keep in mind, if you're like me and need SRAM Matchmaker, you'll need to supply your own mounting bolts - as seen in the picture above.

I'd definitely recommend picking one of these up for any cable-actuated dropper.

If I have a fox transfer post which lever do I need?

    Hey Karla,

If you have the Fox Transfer, you can either use this lever or the Fox Lever options (FRS005J). Feel free to give a shout at my direct line 801.204.4547 or email cojohnson@backcountry.com and I would be happy to help!

    Cheers,
