Hands-free data tracking.
The Wahoo TICKR X Heart Rate Monitor adds a heaping serving of data analysis capability to your workout without any extra sensors. This little device straps neatly around your chest just like any other heart rate monitor to track everything from general heart rate and cadence to accelerometer-aided stride analysis. It boasts both ANT+ and Bluetooth technology to pair with your favorite smartphone or GPS device and see real time metrics, and it also stores up to 16 hours of workout data so you can leave those electronic devices at home and just enjoy the workout with confidence that the data will be there waiting for you when you get home.
For indoor sessions, the Wahoo TICKR X Heart Rate Monitor includes a treadmill mode to accurately track speed and distance when running or walking on a treadmill. As a techy bonus, this monitor is compatible with over 50 third-party apps to get motivated, set training, and analyze run data. It also comes with a free eight-week training program accessible through the Wahoo Fitness App.
The Wahoo TICKR X Heart Rate Monitor comes packaged with an adjustable soft strap, pre-installed CR2032 battery, quick start guide, and product info guide.

So the huge perk to this sensor is that it will send a Bluetooth signal and an ANT+ signal.
If you arrive at the group ride and unload your bike only to realize that you left your head unit at home, but you still want accurate data to track, just sync your phone and you are good to go.
Tickr Heart Rate monitor will communicate with my computer for indoor Zwift rides, my Garmin for outdoor rides, and my phone, for when my Garmin isn't where it should be.
If you are planning to ride your Kickr / Kickr Snap synched to your tablet or PC and don't want to buy an additional ANT+ sensor then this is the Heart Rate Monitor you want.
I have also used it for running outside just synced to my phone. But my primary use for this monitor has been cycling.
No complaints from me. I don't love the Wahoo Apps, but the beauty of this heart rate strap is you don't really need them, aside from installing firmware updates.
I have used it for bike rides, running, gym and soccer. The "offline workout" mode works, just put it on and then go to the app and sync it. It is very confortable, but it is very difficult to get connected to my phone (google pixel) usually it takes like 40 seconds to get connected, this is the only concern that I have.
