Wasn’t sure I would like them but they’re awesome. Got two pairs already. Great for whatever you're doing. Really sad it’s getting too hot to wear. I wear a 32 and the medium is perfect.

Thank you for the review, David! Much appreciated.

I've only had them a couple of days and have to say they're my favorite pair of pants for climbing and outdoor adventures. The fit is great and best described as a tailored fit. The material is nice, durable, and forgiving in all the right places. I'm 6'0" and weigh 185 lbs....ALWAYS wear a 34 and these were true to size. If you're thinking of buying don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

I think I finally found the pant I have been searching for all along. These are the best! Tapered leg, gusseted crotch, drawstring and button, soft material, little bit of stretch, very discrete zippers, comfy as hell! I will probably be donating most of my other pants after buying these. I just reach for them instinctively day after day.

Nice pants. Terrible return policy

I bought these pants for my Father in-laws 70th birthday. They did not fit, but the pants are nice. He is tall and lean, I'm tall and with a lot of muscle. So, they were too short for him and not enough leg room for me. My 1 star has to do with the "world class" return service. Which is anything but "world class". You have to pay a shipping return fee. I recommend Zappos or Amazon or any other company that have real world class return policies.

Why should Backcountry need to pay for return shipping? It’s not like a brick-and-mortar store should pay for your gas to return something.

This is the place to review products not policies...however I had to respond to Jason's post. A brick and mortar store you can try things on so obviously it's not apples to apples.

Just put these on......

I just got these pants..... and I love how they feel! I did a couple of hi steps and lunges and the stretch and gusset works great. They will be a great climbing pant... the won’t hold you back on any route with a high foot. Very comfortable, and they fell nice on. I am about 6’1” and 180lbs and I went with a large and they fit really nice. Not to baggy, but not to tight either. Great pant,

Vuori-diculously Awesome Pants!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I absolutely love these pants and will probably come back for a second pair. I bought these as an all-around style pant for any occasion and I have to say they are living up to the task. The ripstop material is comfortable, relatively breathable, and durable with just enough stretch. The oversized gusset hangs a little low, but allows for a ton of movement. Love the fitted taper style of the leg, which is just loose enough. As other reviews have noted, they make a great travel pant. As the title states, also a great climbing pant. Other than that, they make a great campfire pant, skate pant, casual bike ride pant and the elastic waistband is sure to come in handy on Thanksgiving. Love the shoe string waist band, but these also have a zipper and button closure. Nice little cell/wallet/passport pocket on the leg, along with 4 other pockets, for plenty of storage on the go. I could rave about these pants all day (and often do), but bottom line is that they are worth the money and will last. I'm about 6'0" & 180 lbs, typically a 33x31 pant. I found the large to be a great fit, though a bit longer in the legs than I would prefer.

Hands down the most comfortable pants I own. Slim fit and unique design make these great for more than hanging around the house. Like the other reviews, this makes a killer travel pant. Highly recommend this product!

Great travel pants. Super breathable, with a nice drawstring cord to loosen up when you are sitting on an airplane for hours upon hours. Highly recommended for long flights and comfort.

I was looking for some travel pants for a trip to China and it came down to these and the Patagonia Quandary pant. Decided to go with these ones and I'm glad I did. They are really comfortable and breathable. I love the stretch waist and drawstring but that they also have the button and zippered fly. The modern slim fit and narrower leg opening won me over. Get 'em... they rule!

My brother is 6'1" roughly 170-175 lbs. What sizing would you recommend for him? The large? Thank you,

Hey Emily, for his height and weight the large would be the best choice! But if you have his numerical pant size it could give me a more precise recommendation.
