    Supercharge your ski season.

A supercharged ski season consists of traveling between hemispheres in search of the best backcountry turns, which means you'd have to take whatever condition you get as soon as your flight lands. Lucky for you, the Voile Men's SuperCharger Ski is versatile enough to handle windblown peaks in Bariloche and blower pow in the Wasatch.

The SuperCharger's versatile 106mm waist and rockered tip and tail may lead you to assume that this ski is a solid powderhound (which it is), but camber underfoot makes sure it holds an edge on firmer snow. Voile built the SuperCharger with a lightweight aspen wood core that's been capped for a lightweight feel. Then, Voile added carbon and triaxial layers to ensure a stiffer feel and the torsional rigidity required to charge down just about any line.

    • A touring-specific ski for just about any backcountry condition
    • Versatile waist width carves corn and floats powder
    • Tip and tail rocker gives a nimble feel and adds float
    • Heavy camber underfoot grips hardpack and neve
    • Lightweight aspen wood core with superlight cap construction
    • Carbon and triaxial layers for stiff rigidity
    • Voile builds simple and solid backcountry equipment in Salt Lake City, Utah
    • Item #VOL001G

    the one ski quiver!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a do it all ski. If I had to just ski one ski all winter this would be my choice, plenty of float with 108 mm underfoot in the 185 cm version, yet still able to hold an edge when you wanna rip the in bounds corduroy or come across some ice during a descent. Plus who wants to have to lift up a bigger ski for thousands of feet on the up? A truly amazing ski! You can tell the supercharger is the product of years of work by skiers tweaking it until they created the perfect rip stick! Plus all Voile skis are made in the USA, which is just the cherry on top that made these an easy choice. A fitting name for a hard charging ski that handles all conditions with ease and grace.

    Versatility Defined

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had this ski on an 18+ fresh day to a spring skiing corn mission and it did equally well in both situations. It surprised me with how well it floated in pow and does grip the hardpack really well. Really fun resort ski as well. A definite quiver of one ski. I am 6'1 and ski the 185 with Scarpa TX Comp boots and 22 Design Outlaws.

    Super Duper Skis

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have only used these a few times but so far I am pretty stoked! For a light ski I was pretty amazed how well they could hold an edge on hardpack. They also keep the chatter to a minimum as well. So far I've used these mostly inbound and am very satisfied with their groomer performance. I would definitely recommend these or the V6 if your looking for a single inbound/outbound ski. I have these paired with the Radical ST and Maestrale boots. This combo seems to drive the ski very well however I wish I would have went with stiffer boot. I'm 165 lbs 5'10 and the 178 cm fit perfect

I'll update this review in a few weeks. Let me know if you have any questions about these skis or the other products mentioned above!

    Super Duper Skis

    Not just a backcountry ski

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Voile SuperCharger are great all mountain ski's. Have skied them on hard pack, to wet heavy Oregon powder to the light fluff. Work great in all conditions. I'm not a small skier, a Clydesdale as my friends call me. The SuperChargers held a carve and would not be pushed around. Smooth in broken powder leftovers and fast. Best part, still light for going uphill. Best backcountry ski I have ever skied and use for in bound skis too!

What can I say, they are Voile skis!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love Voile skis. I have had a number of their skis over the years. I currently have this model and the V8. The Supercharger does not ski deep powder quite as well as the V8 but it is much more versatile and edges better on hard pack.

    Everything they say it is

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm writing this review because these need recognition as a great pair of skis.

Read the descriptions on and and believe what they say.

They've been great everywhere I've had them.

No problem with long or short turns in powder. They aren't fazed when it's already cut and you're busting in and out of the tracks of those who have gone before.

Great holding power on hard pack, long or short turns, and comfortable at all speeds.

Nice on the uphill as they're very light.

And they'll see it through on windblown and crusty junk.

Bases have amazingly withstood encounters with solid rocks, gravel and wood nearly unscathed.

A pleasure to ski and have confidence your skis will do what you want.
