    Skywalk GTX Hiking Boot

Your '80s lifestyle is alive and well—that portable tape player you've been rocking your synth jams on is pretty mint, after all—but Vasque's Skywalk GTX Women's Hiking Boot will be the finishing, and functional, touch. The rough-side-out leather looks classic, but it's been decked out with a waterproof Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane to keep your toes dry when the mountain skies open up. Sharp rocks and rugged trails aren't an issue, either, thanks to the Skywalk's PU footbed, PU midsole, and stable TPU shank. All these features team up to provide all-terrain stability so you don't have to worry about rolling an ankle, and they work with the Pyrenees outsole to keep you stable as a table regardless of the terrain or conditions.

    • Comfort and waterproofing all in one boot
    • Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane is breathable and waterproof
    • PU midsole and footbed give you comfort on long hikes
    • TPU shank protects from unexpected trail hazards
    • Vasque Pyrenees outsole gives you plenty of grip and stability

    Love these boots

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

They had a pretty long break-in period that I thought would never end, but these boots are sturdy and absolutely worth it. Even after breaking in, they are still structured and steady, which for someone with joints as bad as mine is very helpful. They are a bit on the heavier side, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind. I did have issues with my hip flexors on one of my longer trips and I think it was because the boots were heavier than I was used to.

    Solid, comfortable, and nice-looking

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These boots took me through lots of hikes in Ecuador over rocky, wet, muddy terrain. They are solid and waterproof. I wish they had a little more room in the toe box, but I think that will feel better over time. I also recommend some added arch support if you have high arches. I know I will use and love these boots for a long time.

I just miss say "thank you" ".. you'saved med me again... My daughter couldn't live them n more. Y T. Y.

    Are these true to size?

Hey Shelley, they run a tad small. I recommend sizing up a half size.
