It starts with the ultra-strong MD baseplate, which is designed to limit binding-to-board contact area to a mere 5% in order to allow your board to flex more naturally underfoot. Not only does this boost the board's performance, it also prevents board breakage for greater durability. The Forged Carbon highback is stiffer and stronger than just about any other highback you've ever experienced, yet is incredibly lightweight so there's nothing holding you back as your push your boundaries.

Utilizing a closed-cell foam often found in high-end running shoes, Vaporlite 2.0 cushioning absorbs shock and vibrations for a smoother ride, no matter how cold the conditions. Speaking of padding, you'll appreciate the SonicFuse ankle strap and toe-conforming Ultra Grip toe strap. Both of these straps were redesigned from the ground up, dialing in maximum response and tool-free adjustability for a super-secure fit without pressure points or slippage.
