Don't stroll, glide.
They'll stay comfy in Thule's Urban Glide 2 Stroller while you explore the city sprawl. Its sleek and lightweight design includes a convenient, one-handed fold for compact storage. The extendable handlebar accommodates tall dads and small moms, and the rear suspension works with the padded seats to keep your children comfy on bumpy sidewalks. Thule's five-point harnesses meet most safety standards, and the multi-position canopy shields sunlight and rain. There's also a top vent, a large storage compartment, and view-in port so you can see your kid throughout the day.

Got this for friends, and here is their review:
We are a family force to be reckoned-with in this sweet ride. The Thule Glide 2 handles really well both on and off-road, it's a beast on the hills, it has a nice cargo area underneath, good adjustable handle bar design with hand-break, & easily removable wheels for packing tight in the family car (or up top in the Thule Cargo Box). I'm also consistently surprised that even though it looks so massive, it fits through any normal doorway. And since it's important -whether your gear is a slick new mountain bike or a double jogging stroller - I'll mention it's a good looking ride was well. I will say 2 things that I think Thule should work on for the next model: 1) the locking foot break is easy to engage, but a little too difficult to disengage. 2) the most upright seated position for our toddler is still pretty far reclined. I could also see where this may have benefit to the design elsewhere...
Looks Awesome. Intuitive Buttons & Knobs
This is a great looking stroller and gets a lot of compliments (and a lot of "where did you get that's?"). The blue buttons in the center of the wheel allow easy removal of the rear wheels. The blue knob on the front wheel easily adjusts between locked and swivel mode. Lift the blue flap by the kids feet for a crossbar with a blue twisty handle to fold. The handlebar has similar easy to use buttons for a large range of adjustments. Thanks for this awesome stroller Thule!
Fits Through Doorways & Grocery Store
UG2 feels wide, but it fits through standard doorways as well as the gaps between produce stands in the grocery store. It will pass a large shopping cart in a store aisle with room, and nearly fills the sidewalk but easily keeps all three wheels on the pavement.
Fully adjustable canopy and hand brake
Canopy adjusts from the back (both together) and front (individually) for a full range of adjustments.
Hand brake is a huge win! Thanks Thule!
Lots of room for two!
Spacious seats for our tall 2.5 year old. Infant car seats are easily accommodated with the car seat adaptor (which is very simple to take on and off, must be installed on the right side of the double).
Best Double Yet - Improvements Over BOB!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I have spent far too long researching double strollers, starting when I learned we were expecting our second kid (now 4 months old!). They all seem to have some issues. Thule Urban Glide 2 is by far the best we have tried and it is the one we are keeping.
-So easy to push! It feels the same as our single BOB revolution, even when fully loaded with two kids and groceries.
-Relatively light (32 lbs - 5 lbs less than BOB duallie)
-Adjustable handlebar and handbrake, ergonomic handlebar
-HUGE storage basket with optional cover
-Seats are comfy for infant and toddler with side cup holders
-Easily accommodates our tall 2.5 year old toddler.
-Seats recline independently to nearly flat for napping
-Can accommodate 1 infant car seat with adaptor (must be installed on right side)
-Easy to use. Fold, wheel lock, wheel removal, etc. are all super easy and intuitive
-Fully adjustable canopies
-Optional snack tray is deep enough to contain cheese crackers on a bumpy jog and swivels
-Big (this is almost impossible to avoid with a double, and worth it for the performance of this stroller in my opinion).
-Does not fit in our trunk (2005 Toyota Prius) without popping the back wheels off. Neither does BOB duallie, but at least these wheels are easier to get off.
-Seats do not allow toddlers to sit fully upright.
OTHER STROLLERS WE TRIED
-BOB Revolution Duallie. We love our single BOB and started here, but the duallie is so big (folded or unfolded) and heavy that we were off to a tough start. The UG2 improves on both of these issues. Other concerns with the BOB that are addressed by UG2- seats do not recline flat, seats are not padded or particularly comfy for kids and sag in the middle, handlebar does not adjust (the new Duallie Flex does*)
-Kinderwagon Dual Hop. This is about as good as it gets for a lightweight double, but it doesn't fit our lifestyle. It is handy for travel but way too big to keep in the car 'just in case' and the performance isn't there for long walks, bumpy terrain, and jogging. There is limited storage but nowhere near as much as UG2 or BOB.
-Baby Jogger Citi Select. Why is this stroller rated so highly?? On paper it sounds great but in reality it is a pain in the butt, has to be reconfigured every time, is heavy, and barely accommodates our two year old. This was an easy one to pass along.
-Baby Jogger Citi Mini. I thought this would be the double of our dreams, but again the performance isn't there. It is much harder to push than UG2 and can't be used for jogging.
Huge win by Thule. I'm so glad that BOB has finally got some real competition (I hope this means their strollers will improve too - let me reiterate that we love our single BOB revolution!). There are so many improvements and thoughtful details, as well as a significant reduction in weight, length, and folded size. Buy this stroller!! You won't regret it!
