Finally, toasty toes while you ski or ride.
Not even the warmest socks can keep your feet toasty at the ski resort. That's why Therm-ic made its SmartPack Set ic 950 TrimFit compatible for any ski or snowboard boot. While its ThermicSole TrimFit insole warms up to temperatures as high as 158°F, this set's lightweight SmartPack ic 950 battery packs hook to your boots' tongues in order to keep your feet nice and toasty for up to eighteen hours (on the lowest level). This set also includes a SmartPack global charger that charges the battery packs in any country you might ski in. Some boots by Atomic, Burton, Dalbello, Head, and Salomon already have the correct features to help you integrate this pack into your boot, and all the rest require some simple craftsmanship with the help of some scissors, duct tape, and the Cambrelle adhesive already applied to the insoles.

- Q & A
Heater for boot
Unfortunately, the heater failed to be able to distribute heat faster than the cold seeped into my boots and this happened as soon as the temperature was below 25°. No need for a heater with temperatures above that anyway. Seek other options.
No more cold feet!
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Awesome product. I got these for my mom, as she gets cold waaaay too easily. These make her able to enjoy skiing much more! Very easy to install and maintain. My only hesitation with these is that in order to install them, you must cut a small slit in your liners, which if you have nice or expensive liners, you might not be too keen to this idea. But other than that, these are amazing, and can keep even the coldest of feet warm on long ski days, or even tours into the backcountry.
You say the batteries hook up to your boots' tongues. Can you be more specific? Most ski boots' tongues are in close contact either with the foot or the hard shell of the boot and the only place where the tongue tends to stick out of the boot is at the very top, above the power strap. If this protruding part of the tongue is not equipped with a Thermic receptacle, is there a provision for an alternative attachment mode using the power strap? Also, where exactly does the power cable attach to the heating element, toe or heel?
Thanks for pointing this out! Looks like a typo - should say "shell" or "cuff". Therm-ic makes a bunch of adapters to mount those batteries to your boots - directly to the shell or to the powerstrap, or they have a strap that can go around your boot/leg. But I have never seen them mounted to the tongue, and logistically that seems tricky. The wiring attaches at the heel and runs up the back, so it makes more sense to have the battery pack mounted at the back (or at least the side) of your boot.
Thanks again for pointing that out, I'll try to see if we can have that content edited!

Do I need the insoles with this pack if my boots only have liners? Or does the ThermicSole Trim Fit attach directly to the liner?
