Hoping to return this. It it too thin on either side.

The thermarest is too thin on either side so your elbows hit the ground. I love thermarest and hope we can get the right one. Can customer service help me return this? Please reach out.

At 73 yo, I didn’t

At 73 yo, I didn’t expect a great nights sleep. I’m pleased to say I was wrong. An excellent product!

Happy sleeper

I own 2 of these mattresses buying the first 10 years ago and the second a couple of years ago. I find I sleep better on this mattress than my normal bed at home. The insulation value of the mat keeps the cold ground away. While they haven't been used much recently I pulled them both out of storage for planned camping this summer and they still work and look like new. They are a very good investment in comfort.

I bought this to replace

I bought this to replace the earlier model but this one is not the same. The quality is terrible. I would not recommend this product.

Deluxe Camping Pad

The absolute best camping pad available for tent camping. Paired with one of the newer mini-cots it is pure luxury. Much too big for backpacking but perfect for car camping. Expensive but made in America and will last for many years due to its very high quality.

When sleeping in the back

Width is not properly marked

It is marked as 51 cm wide, but the actual width of the mat is 44 cm, 7 cm too narrow to be usable! When I tried it, it was narrower than my shoulder width, so it wasn't stable and I couldn't sleep at all! This is the first time I have ever been unable to sleep using a Thermarest product and I couldn't be more sad. Is this normal? They say you can return it if you haven't used it, but if you don't use it, you won't know, and if you did know, you wouldn't buy it.

My hubby stayed warm and comfortable!

I purchased the Luxury Map Sleeping Pad for my husband. He usually gets cold (even with an appropriate sleeping bag) when we tent camp, and the temperature drops to 50 degrees. This year he didn't get cold using this sleeping pad! He also said it was more comfortable than the air up mattresses we've used on previous trips. The first night was a little uncomfortable for him because we didn't inflate the pad enough. The next night we used an electric air pump to fill the pad and he slept amazingly. He is 5'8" and 180 lbs. I highly recommend this product!

So my 2002 luxury mat

So my 2002 luxury mat g9t a small leak. You sent me a patch kit, yea that did not work out so I started useing my bike Touring thermal restmit a had too patch the hole with 7 patches. Got out my 1994 thermal rest a seam ripped big bubble formed. So I ordered a new luxury there rest as I sleep on a thermal rest every night of my life there the best mattress for a bicycle Touring photographer who sleeps in a tent 100 nights a year on my camp rest and 265 nights on my Luxury Camp rest. There best of the 20 air mattress I have bought on rested my head on. BUT, EVEN the smallest leak ends the life of my mat. You can't fix a leak from the out side! Will I buy another well have two now both new most likely they will last ten years. would I recommend 100° yes

This is literally my bed. It has been my primary bed for over 4 years. I am laying on it right now and I swear to God this product fills me with joy. Go with a bigger size. The extra width is a game changer. I can't recommend this product enough. It's probably the best purchase I've made in my entire life.
