Your one and only.
Most dedicated trekkers have two pairs of hiking shoes—one for hot and dusty trails and another for wet weather and muddy terrain—but you rely on the The North Face Men's Ultra GTX Surround Hiking Shoe. Unlike most shoes with a waterproof, breathable membrane, this shoe's Surround Technology completely wraps your foot in a waterproof, breathable membrane. While most shoes miss the sole, and let water seep through whenever you step in a puddle, this shoe keeps water out. On top of that, this shoe also boasts enhanced breathability ratings, making it a far better choice for summer hikes.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I purchased this shoe from the actual NF store. When I first put them on they were noticeably comfortable and pricy $190. I gave them a try. I wore them in the winter in Virginia in the snow and melted ice around down-town. (feet stayed dried as I stepped into several deep puddles not all were on purpose). I took them with me to Iraq as an alternative to my asics running because of the terrain, I even wore them to the gym. I've squatted in them, jump roped, ran in dirt and rocky terrain, the laces are durable and so is the shoe so far.
Now I'm looking for another pair to buy, but this website doesn't have my size. I do recommend giving them a try. If it helps I have slight flat feet, low arches, and a narrow foot, not that wide shoe stretching foot. You know what I'm talking about. Hope this helps.
