Wife wears 'em everywhere

Familiarity:

Bought these for my wife and she wears them everywhere; in the house, running to the store, walking the dog. Even when there's a light snow, thanks to the DWR coating and reliable traction.

Game Changer! Camping and Life Essential

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I was camping with some friends a few years ago, and one of my friends pulled out these booties while we were sitting around the campfire. I was super jealous of how warm her feet were, but I decided that they weren't a camping essential, and that I could make-do with just warm socks and my slip-on vans. Well, three years later, I finally gave in and bought these down booties before a camping trip to the desert. Honestly, I was expecting to wear them on the trip, and then assumed they would end up in my closet until the next time I went camping. Nay nay nay! I wear these booties practically every day. They are warm, but not so warm that your feet are sweating. I really love the tread on these! I can wear them outside around the campfire or into gas stations on road trips and not have to worry about the bottom of the slippers getting destroyed. Now that the mornings are getting chillier in Salt Lake, I find myself wearing these to drive in on the way to work. I have only had these booties for a few weeks, but they seem very durable so far. I wear a size 9, and I bought these in a size 9 as well. They are a little roomy, but I wanted these booties to fit a little loose so that I could wear thick socks with them as well. If you are looking for a tighter fit, then I would size down. I bought these in the "high rise grey/zinc grey" color. While the booties aren't as shiny as they appear in the picture, they do still look a little "spaceship-y". I like it, but if you're wanting something more neutral looking, then I would just get them in black. Before buying these, I considered down booties a "nice to have" item. However, now that I own these, I definitely consider them an essential and bring them with me everywhere!

Perfect for hut trips

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

My wife loved these for a hut trip in the Tetons. They fit true to size, which is a challenge for half sizes. She sized up to a 9 from a street shoe of 8.5 and found it a bit loose, but nice for lounging and fitting thick socks underneath. The tread is adequate for walking through the snow to the outhouse or chopping wood, although you wouldn't want to be post-holing in these—you'd have a bootie full of snow. There needs to be a packed-down path to be comfortable. They seem to be relatively odor-resistant, which is nice when you want to put them on your stinky ski-boot-feet without regretting it later.

The Best Bootie

These are the best bootie/slippers I have owned! It is basically like wearing a puff jacket on your feet - super warm, very comfortable, and the rubber traction soles allow you to walk around outside in less than ideal weather or over some snow and stay protected.

These are fantastic slippers! They are super warm and cozy, but the rubber tread allows you to wear them outside in any weather without worry. They run slightly large.

Favorite Slipper

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this as a gift to a family member, and she is stoked on them, and it made a great birthday gift. It's one of those things that people don't realize they need in their life! She walks the dog in them, wears them camping, and lounges around the house in them. Very comfy and functional. Seems like they run true to size.

Fantastic Product

I love these slippers. They are very, very lightweight - I throw them in my suitcase when I'm traveling in the winter - they are great for long haul plane trips......will be buying more as gifts. In my experience they run big. I am normally a Size 7 and I bought a 6 in these.

Awesome Bootie

These slippers are so warm and comfortable! The insole is cushy and soft against bare skin and the outer sole is light enough to wear around indoors, but durable enough to walk around in outside. Great for camping or wearing around the house

I'm living in these

I order the size 11 in mens. These are my favorite slippers of all time. I wear a 10.5 USA shoe. So I went with an 11 Northface slipper. They fit perfectly. Note that the insole is a thick 1/4

warm + durable

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Gave these to my mom as a gift and she loves them! She was sick of wearing out the soles on the slippers she usually gets, so I wanted to get her something similar to what she is used to, but with a more durable sole. So far so good. She wears them all the time and loves that she can walk out on the snow and ice to get the mail, bring trash out, etc and have good traction.

I gave these as a gift and the recipient loved them. She said they are high quality and well made, and keep her feet nice and toasty. Perfect for around the house, or quick trips out.

Everyone needs a pair

I get asked about this shoe so much more than any other I own. I take them with me practically everywhere. The plus side: down keeps my feet super warm all the time but I don’t find my feet sweating in them as the temperatures rise. The traction sole is what sets these apart. You can go anywhere in them and they hold up so well. You can step onto the back and wear them as slip ons or pop it over your heel and have more coverage and warmth. This version is higher in the front and back which is exactly what I had been wishing for. The other model sits tighter on the foot so the trade off for the extra coverage is these don’t stay on the foot as easily when using them as a slip on. But so far it seems like a fair compromise for the extra warmth and less snow will get into them if walking around. I wear a 7.5 and sized down to a 7 when ordering.
