[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my brother and it works perfect for him as a school bag! There are a bit too many compartments which makes it quite thick but it is still functional.

A Versatile and Reliable Backpack for Everyday Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **Review: The North Face Surge Backpack** I've been using The North Face Surge Backpack for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become my go-to bag for almost everything. With its **31-liter capacity**, it's spacious enough to hold all my essentials without feeling bulky. The **streamlined design** is both stylish and functional, making it suitable for work, travel, and daily use. One feature I particularly appreciate is the **15'' laptop sleeve**. It's well-padded and secure, providing excellent protection for my laptop. The sleeve's placement allows for easy access, which is incredibly convenient when I need to quickly grab my laptop for work or security checks at the airport. The backpack's **water-repellent finish** has been a lifesaver on several occasions. Living in an area prone to sudden rain showers, I no longer have to worry about my belongings getting wet. This feature adds a layer of practicality that I didn't realize I needed. Another thoughtful design element is the backpack's ability to **stand unsupported**. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes a big difference when I'm working in a crowded space or need to access my items quickly. The bag remains upright and stable, which is a nice touch. Overall, The North Face Surge Backpack is an excellent choice for anyone in need of a versatile and reliable bag. Its combination of capacity, protection, and thoughtful design features make it indispensable for everyday use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality backpack.

Say yes to this backpack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this for my school backpack. I don't use my locker and I needed something that would hold everything I need each day. It's the perfect size and I love North Face products because they offer a LIFETIME Warranty.

Pick your pocket carefully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the pockets, but a big issue with this backpack is that you can't really fill all of the pockets. Once you put a laptop and notebook in the first compartment and then fill the front pockets the ability to use the main large pocket is drastically reduced. I can barely get a water bottle to squeeze in. I wish they would have kept the old Surge backpack design from a couple years ago, that worked much better

Best backpack I've ever had for daily business and travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is everything. I am a daily business backpack user and have had some great backpacks in the past. I did a ton of research and decided on this Surge Backpack. It is by far my favorite backpack that Ive ever used. It's the perfect size and great quality. I anticipate using this for years and years.

Fantastic looking backpack w/ some limit

I've used it several times

I bought the charcoal version (not currently sold) and it looks fantastic. I still look like a bit of a goober with it when I rock a suit to work, but much less of a goober than anyone else with a backpack. Build quality seems high. It is comfortable. I have the equivalent pack in light grey from patagonia (3100 vs. 3200 cu. in.), but the Northface pack feels much smaller because of the pocket orientation. I hate this part. The patagonia pack could fit all of my office stuff + random stuff (keys, etc.) + gym clothes and gym shoes. I can mostly fit this stuff into my Northface, but it's a lot tighter. I think the designers should have used fewer pockets (there are like 10 total) and opened up the main compartment a bit. But again, for looks and general functionality, this is the pack!
