Why We Like The North Face Summit Verbier GTX Jacket

The North Face optimized their Summit series for big mountain adventures, but the Summit Verbier GTX Jacket features resort-ready features, so we can ride in and out of bounds with the same kit. The GORE-TEX shell blocks falling snow and deep powder without limiting breathability. The articulated fit is built to ski and ride but leaves plenty of room for layers on chilly lift rides. Pockets feature places to stash avy equipment and resort passes. And seamless shoulders keep us comfortable while hiking and riding with a pack.

Too expensive for only one layer

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this on for my son, and I thought it would have some insulation, but it's only the outer layer. Too expensive, I wouldn't buy it again

No

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the pattern and the oversized fit. I'm 6' tall and 175 lbs and the jacket is perfect, if not just a little long in the arms as other reviewers have pointed out. I don't like that there is no way to tuck the hood out of the way and I wish they had a better, softer, fluffier fabric by my chin when I have it fully strapped in. Also not sure the snow gaiter is going to work that well.

Highlightened and focused about a Summit Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worldwide trademark impossible to say any mistakes or problem with a product. Constructive planned sequences for an all spectrum of deffending a weather attack. Best choice. Better wearing.

Some quality issues, check images.

Brand new with tons of dark marks inside. Poor production quality and QC. See pictures for details. Keep in mind that is is fresh out of the package. And the packaging do suggest that it's brand new and has never been tried on.

Sizing is correct

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no idea how people are saying this jacket isn't sized correctly. It fits like any other ski shell I have ever owned. Potentially people don't realize this is for skiing? Obviously too big for casual wear. Anyways, great jacket and I would highly recommend picking this up. North face has a great warranty and the shell performs well.

Great jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's funny, some of the reviews complain that this jacket runs too big. As a ski instructor and someone who has to be out in the cold all day, that's exactly what I wanted. You need to be able to wear lots of layers underneath. It's no fun being cold. This jacket is correctly sized.

A Good Option that Combines Performance and Utility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well made, relatively light weight jacket with plenty of pockets for carrying small gear, as well as a place to put your hands. Worth noting, this jacket appears to run a bit large compared to other North Face jackets I own. I normally wear large, but a medium fits better.
