Soft, warm, flattering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I splurged on this jacket in the boysenberry. The color is GORGEOUS. I am 5'8 142, and it is long in the torso and just covers the rear. It is the softest puffer coat I have ever owned. I have worn it every day since I received it. The large is perfect for layering and not too poofy. I am a little too obsessed with puffer coats, and I wear them everywhere (to and from the gym, walking the dog, hiking, errands, work). My favorite has been the Thermoball hoodie, which has a boxy fit (and is much thinner), but the colors in that have recently been disappointing. The boysenberry on this jacket POPS and is amazing. I was worried it would be a little too "ski parka-ish" for my needs from the photos, but it is very flattering on, and I don't feel like I should be on the slopes when I'm at the grocery store. It's warm without being hot, and did I mention how soft it is?? The pockets are deep for dog walking necessities, and the front zipper pocket is perfect for keys and even a large phone. I got carried away and also ordered it in the "misty sage" but am probably returning it. The black piping is striking, but the color is too "dirty lime" for me. I'll stick with the boysenberry.

Boysenberry not as vibrant as pictured

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st I've gotten from NF. Overall impressed w/technical aspects, but had to go up a size for hip width: never happened before! Color is much duller than shown. Disappointed but here now so keeping it.

Great warm and attractive jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket.its soft, flexible and has just the right bum coverage. I'm a medium but often have to go large with slim/athletic fit items due to my bust but the medium fits perfectly.

Runs SMALL- excellent jacket otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket (I have a previous year's version) but when attempting to buy a new one, the sizing has changed so much it doesnt fit anymore. I am 5'5", athletic build with broad shoulders. I am usually a medium, but the medium in this jacket was SO tight on my shoulders and hips I had to go up to a large. The large was SO long it was almost a parka length- covering my butt entirely, and the sleeves were excessively long. Sad the sizing has changed so much, because the previous version of this jacket has been a tried and true staple for all my backcountry and front country adventures alike.

Lightweight and warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is warm and very light. It was exactly what I was looking for as I am planning a trek up mount kilimanjaro. I love the color and quality of the coat.

Great quality, great fit, and perfect warmth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old down jacket was on it's last so this looked like a great replacement. I love that it covers my bottom without being too long. The fit is great. I'm usually a medium but sometimes Ms are too slim for my bosom so I was worried. I ordered a medium and this one has great proportions- not too tight, not too loose. And so warm and light. I am thrilled with my purchase
