    Cavernous storage for backcountry trips.

Don't leave anything behind when you're carrying the massive storage capacity of The North Face Fovero 85 Backpack. This backpack features a gigantic 85-liter volume, effortlessly carrying up to 70-pounds of gear on week-long trips into the wilderness. The Opti-Fit suspension system adjusts to accommodate a wide variety of torso lengths and body types, comfortably supporting heavy loads on long-distance treks. Furthermore, the five-point compression system reduces overall bulk.

The Fovero 85 Backpack is a top-loading pack, with over ten total pockets to easily accommodate all your clothes, outerwear, backcountry food, camping gear, and miscellaneous items. The dedicated sleeping bag compartment makes easy work of partitioning your favorite sleeping bag from the rest of the bag's contents. Offering a well-ventilated space for wet clothes and gear, the breathable beaver-tail pocket makes easy work of drying damp items. Other key features include hydration compatibility for drinking on the trail (reservoir not included), hip belt pockets for easy-access to must have items, as well as a top lid that conveniently detaches into a daypack.

    Backpackers Cadilac

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I recently used this pack on a 3-day trip in to the Wind River Range of Wyoming. I've always leaned more towards Osprey but this pack really impressed. I had to carry a little larger load vs some of the others in the group and this pack handled it without issue.
The top lid converts into a daypack that was awesome during a day hike to a secluded lake. Also found that the external access pocket was extremely useful. Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions about this pack or backpacking in general.

    Backpackers U-Haul

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Recently used this pack on a camping trip. Carried everything from my sleeping essentials, tent and clothes. Tons of room and extremely light. Very Comfortable and quality piece of equipment. Highly recommend

    Great pack

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love this pack so comfortable with light and heasy loads plenty of room for all my gear and I love the way the lumbar straps tighten exilent pack !

What does the top lid look like when it's being used as a daypack?

Hey Audrey! I have attached an image to show what the pack looks like as a daypack. There are straps that come out of the bottom of the pack's brain that fit in with the clips that would normally clip onto the main portion of the pack.
