Why We Like The North Face Amry Down Jacket
Warm and comfortable, The North Face Amry Down Jacket features a body-mapped design to keep us cozy across a range of temperatures and winter activities. In the torso, the 700-fill down delivers light and lofty insulation that doesn't weigh us down while a synthetic blend in the side panels maximizes breathability and moderates our temperature when we're working hard in the cold. The Amry also includes specialized features for skiers and snowboarders, such as a stretch-women powder skirt with gripper elastic, stretch-knit wrist gaiters, integrated goggle wipe, and internal pockets for our goggles and devices.

Perfect. Red, Red/Orange
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I m 5'3, weight 120. I got a size up (S). I needed a jacket/coat to replace 3 coats. One northface from 2009 and 2 eddie bauer from 2011. This is very warm especially for 30-40 degree weather.

Not Performance Apparel and NOT for Real Athletes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this jacket and ski pants from Northface and was told by the clerk it would stand up to extreme cold and mountain conditions for a professional skier. I was also told it was covered by a 2 year warranty and 60 day return policy in the event it didn't stand up to the weather. Sounded good so I bought it. Wore it once - not even to ski; just to test it out on a cold, snowy day. In less than 2 hours, the seams at the bottoms of the pants began to degrade and I was frozen. It felt like it had no wind protection whatsoever. I brought it back for a warranty claim to the Northface in Vail Village, Vail, Colorado (141 E Meadow Dr Ste 107, Vail, CO 81657), and Northface refused to accept the return, stating it doesn't stand behind its products once worn. IT DOESN'T STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS ONCE WORN????????? I was shocked. This is supposed to be performance apparel for athletes. If a ski outfit can't stand up to a short hike at the base of a mountain, how could you trust it to actually ski in? Appalled Northface won't stand by its products. Certainly, I will never shop with them again if this is the case. The clerk was a young man and I am hoping he was mistaken - tried to contact corporate and they haven't responded. I'll update this if they do. This outfit hasn't even been skied in. If you are an actual athlete DO NOT BUY FROM NORTHFACE. They do not stand behind their apparel. If you just care about aesthetics, go crazy, but if you're actually hoping for athletic performance from this stuff, you'll be very disappointed.
