Why We Like The North Face All Weather 4-Wheeler 30in Roller Luggage
With a bomber shell, built-in locks, and well-designed organization, The North Face All Weather 4-Wheeler 30in Roller Luggage ensures our gear is exactly how we packed it when we reach our destination. The external ribs increase strength against the rough-and-tumble journey through the airports' baggage systems, while the streamlined, locking buckles make it look less enticing to lawless vagabonds as it takes its ride on the destination carousel. Inside, two dividers separate our trail layers from our town layers, while the removable drawstring bags house our shoes, and the mesh zip pockets secure chargers, pocket knives, and other small items.

Large capacity; plenty compartments.
Great for a week long vacation. Compartments and bags kept everything organized. Seemed to hold up well after being tossed around at the airport; no damage. Recommend for hard side luggage.

I will buy this product again (love my 7 NF t-shirts!)
I love the size and ease of moving it around. Sadly on my first trip, to London and Lisbon, one of the wheels was broken off by the airlines. So I had to return it but will most likely buy it again.

Survived 4 flights without any issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took this check in luggage to Japan and Korea from California. It was checked in 4 times total at the airport. Still looks almost new after 1.5 months trip. Really tough luggage.

Never buy this luggage
Horrible luggage. For north Face I'm extremely disappointed. Gone through 2 luggage's in 2 trips and each time they broke. Horrible quality.

WHEEL SPLIT COMPLETELY IN HALF FELL OFF AFTER THREE FLIGHTS!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased both 30" and 22" All Weather 4-Wheeler luggage for my 10yo son and I to use specifically when flying out to his karate tournaments. By all appearances, this luggage looks outwardly very stylish, yet durable and rugged, with strikingly handsome looks similar in appearance to an industry leading German luggage manufacturer, for a lot less money! In hindsight, however, I see now you really do get what you pay for as this All Weather 4-Wheeler luggage might stand up to weather, but, unfortunately, will not stand up to airline baggage handlers as I found out when one of the four wheels on my 30" got badly damaged with a deep crack and eventually completely fell off entirely shortly after we left Baggage Claim after only our third flight with both pieces of luggage in tow. On only my second trip and just third flight, this left me standing awkwardly looking completely foolish right outside our travel destination airport with heavy luggage wobbly supported by just three instead of four wheels. I had to endure the humiliation throughout our stay at our destination location all the way through our fourth flight, the return flight, back home. I grew up in Berkeley, CA, where The North Face (TNF) originated and have been a loyal TNF customer for the past 35+ years since I was a college student there. I have personally invested in a collection amounting to over 60+ TNF jackets along with dozens of other TNF outdoor items, including duffel bags, luggage and clothing apparel. TNF quality is usually second to none, but, the fundamentally flawed design of this 4-Wheeler luggage is an epic fail. Prospective buyers be warned! While I applaud TNF for standing by their warranty, inspecting the damaged luggage and offering me an e-gift refund commensurate with original purchase price from a year ago, I write this in hopes that The North Face can, should and will do better going forward in designing 4-Wheeler luggage with much higher quality wheels than their obviously cheap current design allows. In the meantime (at least until I can afford to upgrade to a much more expensive luxury luggage brand), I will stick with TNF's Rolling Thunder line of products, which seem to have, thus far, after multiple uses, much tougher wheels that can survive both careless airline baggage handlers and unpredictably hazardous sidewalks as well as can be expected of any wheeled luggage.
