The North Face Aconcagua Hooded Jacket carries its insulation all the way into the hood instead of leaving it as an uninsulated shell piece. The same 180 grams of recycled polyester fill that runs through the side and underarm panels extends into the three-piece hood, so covering up doesn't mean losing warmth at the neck and head. A WINDWALL fabric shell and non-PFC DWR finish handle wind and light precipitation, holding up whether the day starts on a cold trail or ends on a windy sidewalk.
