No insole
I returned this product because if felt like there wasn't an insole, it was hard.

Comfort
I use these for work, and they are comfortable enough for me to stand for 10 hours.

Looks very nice
But, in spite of ordering the size I always wear in Teva sandals, the boots do not fit. They are not even close to fitting; I can't even get my foot all the way in the shoe with the laces undone. Is it really a size 11??? I probably have 10 pair of Teva sandals in my closet right now. I wear Teva all Summer. I wanted to wear them in Winter too. I guess not!

Comfortable; sturdy enough yet flexible enough
Love everything about it! Good ankle support without being high enough to cause ankle blisters. Accommodate my wide feet, fabric is breathable without being too thin

Comfortable and Sturdy
Super comfortable. I have an ankle that is pretty finicky and these had great ankle stability. I hiked 30 miles in them without any issue to my ankle. Only giving it 4 stars because little tiny rocks got inside the seams somehow and I cannot get them out. So I now have permanent rocks in them.

make my feet hot n sweaty
Worn for about 2 hours in 60 degree weather and feet were sweaty. I bought them for summer landscaping work as I wanted something lighter and hopefully more breathable than my more durable leather boots. Don't think I will fair well in them with real summer weather.... Very spacious toe box. Feels nice but makes you less sure footed.

Not wide enough
Very cute shoe, feels comfortable except they didn't work for me as they weren't wide enough for my feet.

Cute Boot
Great, cute style. Not for hiking or even all day wear if you have any foot issues - like a bunion. The toe box is very wide, an asset but also makes for a bit of a loose fit unless the ankle laces are very tight. I wear a 9 and the fit is perfect - not too short, not too long.

EXCELLENT for Cold and Rainy Weather!
I purchased these boots for a 2 week hiking trip across Israel and Jordan. The weather in Israel was HORRIBLE with non stop RAIN, hail, cold, and windy weather. These boots kept my feet WARM & DRY!! I was amazed at how well they worked to keep the rain out even though I was standing in and stepping in puddles of water. If that wasn't good enough, I also hiked to the top of the Ruins in Petra in Jordan in these boots. That trail is not SAFE, but the grip on these boots kept me from going over the side of the mountain. I didn't even slip while climbing up and over the boulders and the boots also have great ankle support! It's important to note that I also have plantar fasciitis and was averaging no less than 18,000 steps a day in these boots and my feet didn't hurt much at all. I didn't have to break them in, either! My first time wearing them was when I got to Israel. As far as the sizing, get your regular size if you want to wear them without socks like I did. If you plan on wearing socks, then I recommend going up a half or full size. Once you lace them up they fit snug to protect the ankles and to keep the water out so that needs to be taken into consideration.
