Why We Like The Ridgeview Low Ripstop Hiking Shoe
While we believe there’s a time and place for a dedicated hiking boot, the Ridgeview Low Ripstop Hiking Shoe makes a lot more sense to us for thru-hikes and fast-packing. The polyurethane midsole still supplies excellent support for long miles over rugged terrain, while the ankle-high coverage and hybrid leather upper supply a lightweight trail-shoe feel.

Dangerously slippery when wet!
I deeply regret not returning them as soon as I realized how slippery they are on hard surfaces when the soles are wet. I came in last night out of the rain and slipped off the top step of a two-step down into my concrete floored laundry room and whacked my head on the top step when I landed. Not cool. I have never slipped on this step before. These shoes are EXTREMELY slick when wet on hard surfaces.

I wouldn't buy this product again.
The shoe was great but was too narrow for me. I won't buy on line again as I need to try a shoe on first.

Decent shoe but uncomfortable
The internal liner (I assume that makes them waterproof) is super tight on my foot. Which is pretty surprising because I have flat feet. I changed the soles to try to help and it got only slightly better. Working to see if I can break them in and loosen it up but not seeing any results yet.

Quality products.
I am a TEVA repeat customer because their products are a good quality. The shoe support is fantastic and the traction couldn't be better. I would have designed the laces to be a bit longer.

Good product
Well, I bought these for my husband and he wears them everyday. We have ice, snow, and slippery walking, but he says they grip. And they look good. His one comment was about the fit, a bit wide. If they hold up, then we'll buy again in the future.
