Why We Like The Ridgeview Low Hiking Shoe
The wet trails of the PNW can't infiltrate the Ridgeview Low. With waterproof leather and a bootie construction, this hiking shoe keeps our feet dry through dewy ferns, atop damp moss, and under rain-soaked canopies, while the multi-directional lugs stop slick rocks and muddy singletrack from tripping us up.

Questionable design
Bought my 1st Tevas in 2020 from a retail store, and loved their fit, support, and design. This shoe however, has a much larger contoured shape around the ball of the foot, making it very bulky. While the shoe fit true to size length wise, the excess material made it esthetically displeasing when laced and too much room across the top of the foot. This must be a new design because I ordered both the Ridgeview low, and the Canyonview, noting the same "bulkiness" in both. I did not walk in beyond the initial trying on, so a fair assessment of walking support and comfort cannot be made.

Nice Shoe
The shoe is well made and sturdy. I wear a size 10 and have found this a pretty good fit. Like all brands, it fits me just a tad too long, but the next size down would be too short. Perhaps it would feel less clunky if the toe box was more angled. All in all it has been pretty comfortable.

Good but limited
The insoles are hard, no give. They hurt my feet and back after wearing for 5 hours. I won't be wearing them anymore.

Great shoe, but...
This style runs short. I bought the same size as my other waterproof Tevas, but this one runs short. Probably should have sent them back but am hoping the toe will stretch a bit.

Run smaller than my other Teva purchases
Teva shoes are about the only brand I can wear due to foot arch issues. I purchased the Ridgeview Low and should have bought them 1/2 a size bigger as they are shorter than expected.

too narrow for my extra wide feet.
Teva shoes are too narrow for my extra wide feed. They need to make the too more boxy shaped.

no
The holes for lacing should have metal around them instead of just hole through fabric This is a small expense but would create better quality shoe. There is more room at the front of the shoe personal preference would prefer more narrow I've only had the shoe a short while will see how it holds up

Super Comfy
These were comfortable right out of the box; no break-in period was needed. I hike as a regular part of my job, so they have been tested and have been great hiking shoes. Highly recommend! I have also gotten quite a few compliments on the look of them as well.

If the shoes were wide enough in the two box.
The shoes fit, but was too narrow in the two box. I need a wide shoe. Other than being too narrow the shoes fit perfect. very comfortable. They need to make shoes for people with wide feet.
