    Classic style.

Evocative of your Dad's glasses circa 1989, the Sunski Dipsea Polarized Sunglasses effortlessly blend classic style with protection from the sun. Crafted with a polycarbonate frame, these sunglasses are fashioned with a polarized lens that keeps the sun's harmful rays at bay while the rounded shape and smaller lens is ideal for faces of all shapes and sizes.

    Value, Style, Function

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I have owned Ray Bans, Oakleys and Maui Jims, so I take my shades seriously and consider them a good investment. But times have changed a bit for me, and I could not justify shelling out another $3-400 for the perfect shades. I admit I was drooling over the Oliver Peoples sunglasses, though. But at $400+....

Then I walk into a Hollister and happen to see these for $55. I got the Dipseas Tortoise frames with the Emerald mirror lenses.

    SIZE
The size was perfect - I have a smaller face, so it is easy for shades to overwhelm me. These don't .

    STYLE
Striking "retro." There is something very simple and classic about these that makes other styles I've looked at seem like they are trying to hard to be something. These have a casual id about them - and I think that rubs off on the person wearing them. My friends made some nice remarks about them, and I admit liking what I see in the mirror.

    FUNCTION
Crisp, clear and they definitely relieve the squinting.

    FIT/COMFORT
In a word - perfect. After a while, I forget they are on my face; the hooks of my Maui's, by contrast, started hurting the backs of my ears and after a while, I couldn't wait to take them off. The Maui's also constantly slid down my nose - not an issue with the Dipseas.

    QUALITY/BUILD
I notice they are made in China, and I have a small issue with that, but also understand that is true with so much we buy now here in the states. They seem sturdy, and after several uses are holding up well and the hinges haven't loosened.

    OTHER
They come in a fancy hard cardboard case (yeah - a box) with a nice cloth case that doubles as both scratch protection during carry and a lens cloth.

Get 'em. And get a hard lens case for them, too.

    Great Shades

I wanted to pick up a new pair of shades for a recent trip to New Zealand - I wanted one pair to travel in, hike, bike, and still look good wearing around town. These 100% fit the bill! They are comfortable to wear all day, and they look great on the trail and outside a trendy cafe. The value for the price is a huge bonus in my opinion.

      Great Shades

Best Polarized glasses on a budget

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

These sunglasses are super fun and spunky. They come with a cloth case so I used an old glasses case when I was traveling in Nepal. After getting all the gear for my trip, I didn't want to spend another hundred dollars on something I would probably end up breaking. These held up the whole trip and protected me from snow blindness on our treks across glaciers at 18,000 ft. Would definitely recommend. When I got back to the states I accidentally fell into a willow while on an early season ski tour and the lenses got scratch. They only cost $3 to replace from sunski so it's a good bargain all around for someone who doesn't want to shell out $200 on a pair of polarized sunnies.

      Spunky, yet Stylish.

I'm really quite stoked on these shades. They're simple with a hint of retro-inspired flair which makes them great for everyday wearing. Better yet, THEY'RE POLARIZED! Which is most excellent in my opinion. They are slightly wide for my face, but not large enough that it bothers me by any means.

I recently bought the tortoiseshell as an everyday pair of sunglasses, and liked them so much I bought the black and gold as well. Such a great company and a great price for polarized glasses.

        Great glasses, and great company

My wife asked for these glasses for Christmas, which I gave to her a little early because she needed them. She loves the glasses! I have had a pair in the past which I loved. Not to mention a great pair of polarized specs for significantly less than $100! I reached out to the company with spec questions and they responded almost immediately, going above and beyond

I bought these glasses for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves them. Whether she wants to throw these on for a hike, or heading out with friends on the town-- these glasses are so versatile that they suit her variety of needs.

This is the first pair of sunglasses I've ever purchased for more than $12 and I'm happy with throwing the extra money down. Best polarized glasses out there IMO because of the price point. The quality is top notch. They are flattering on my oval shaped face. Would recommend to a friend.

        Super impressed!

I'm really, truly impressed by the quality of the polarized lenses for the price-- these glasses are a FABULOUS value and have a darling, retro shape. They were a bit round for my larger, heart-shaped face with low eyebrows (I tend to go with square/flat-on-top sunnies for large faces), so I opted to exchange them for the equally stylin' Sunski Foxtail glasses, which are flatter on top.
