Great for sleeping

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a pair of these for both myself and my husband. They are pretty close to perfect for cold-weather camping when you don’t want to struggle with shoes to go outside in the middle of the night. I took away one star for two reasons. The first is that they are a little hard to get on because of the elastic band around the ankle. i would have liked to see a zipper or drawstring incorporated at the ankle so they were easier to slide on, but still cinched up tight once your foot was in. The second drawback is the sole is a little flimsy. It’s just a few layers of soft padding so they definitely wouldn’t keep your foot safe from stepping on a sharp rock or twig. Ouch! That said, I love that the sole is smooth with no tread. This keeps them from tracking dirt and debris into the tent and makes them strong contenders for sleeping in when it’s bitter cold outside. All in all, I really like these and am excited to put them through the wringer during our upcoming Wyoming trip. Also: I wear a women’s size 10; mediums fit me well but were a teeny bite snug. My husband wears men’s size 11/11.5 and the large fit him perfectly.
