Why We Built The Groundwork Double Sleeping Bag
We made the Stoic Groundwork Double Sleeping Bag because it's challenging enough to find a sleeping bag for two, and it's even harder to find a bag that feels comfy in colder and warmer temperatures. This double-wide sleeping bag offers soft warmth even when the forecast calls for gray skies and morning fog. You're welcome to cozy up with your partner, or unzip the bag into separate parts in case someone heads out on a solo mission.

For the price, not a bag double bag. Nice that you can unzip into two separate bags. Will be perfect for summer camping but the 20° rating is totally inaccurate. Used this bag with my husband in late October in Oregon and we would have froze if we didn’t have zero degree bags with us. I was wearing multiple layers including wool base layers and wool socks, had our husky pup on top of the bag with us for extra warmth, the low got down to about 30° and we were still pretty chilled.

A sleeping bag that doesn't zip up...

Total junk, snags multiple times while trying to zip. Poorly designed for a sleeping bag style that's as basic as it comes and been around a bit. Somehow they still got it wrong. Backcountry should not be selling the this garbage..

Good trailhead camping bag

This bag is a nice economical alternative to a down sleeping bag if you are only going to be trailhead camping. I am not sure it is 20F though, I think 30F would be a more fair rating.

No way this is rated to 20F
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Even unzipped and with the two bags doubled up there's no way this would get through a 40F night. Returning.

Just OK
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Pros: it is a double sleeping bag for a decent price, and my wife likes it. Cons: it’s definitely a Summer bag only. The 20°F rating is ridiculous. The color also looks more washed out than the photos (I got the oatmeal), and feels… cheap. Summary: my wife likes it so we will keep it… but curb your enthusiasm.

You Get What you Pay For
- Familiarity:

Took it out of the box and tested out the compression straps to see how small I could get the bag. The plastic two prong clip instantly broke. I'm going to have to get external compression straps to solve this, or get another compression bag. Like the other reviews, this bag's lowest temperature is 50 degrees if you're alone, and maybe 40 degrees if you have a partner. I know my Fiancé will be cold, by just looking at this bag. I'm not going to be cruel and give less than three stars, this is a double sleeping bag for less than $50 on Steep and Cheap, sometimes you get burned when you try to save a buck! Points for being aesthetic and packing nicely with a small footprint.

It’s a lovely way to make camping more cozy and intimate! It was a little chilly for spring camping, but my girlfriend loves to cuddle (as do I) and I appreciated the functionality of a two person sleeping bag :)
