Compact and durable.

Cook set works great for hiking. Just need to be careful of overheating the lid tab.

Works great and the insulated cups are prefect. Fits well into a pack without taking up a lot of space. I use it regularly on my snowshoe trips here in Montana.

Heavily weathered

One of my favorite pieces of gear. My entire backwoods kitchen. It holds a 100 gram fuel can, my compact burner all neat and tidy.

An amazing product with an amazing price

This Stanley cookset is fantastic for backpacking! PROS: * Price… very reasonable * Compact size fits inside most side pack side pouches * Size allows it to nest nicely inside most stainless camp cups (see pic) * Without 1 of the clunky green cups that is included with the kit, the Interior space allows a small MSR gas can upside down in the bottom, 1 green cup on top (I plan to replace it with something thinner and lighter), and a pocket stove and cleaning cloth in green cup. * The lid will also fit on a nesting stainless camp cup (separate purchase) CONS: * the 2 included green cups are thick and clunky and double the weight of the kit. * The plastic handle on the lid melts off over time (can be fixed with simple hack… a car key ring) * There is no bale handle which is a big drawback
Hack: drill two holes, insert 2 stainless Chicago screws, modify an old paint can handle (see pic)

Great Cook Set / Brew Kit

This has become my most used cook set. I generally use it to boil water for hot beverages and use my GSI cup, which nests nicely on the bottom of the Stanley pot to make my meal, but I've cooked in the Stanley pot many times, too. When I'm out solo, I only bring one of the awesome green cups with me and that leaves room in the pot for even more items. Bic lighter, coffee, Cocoa, tea, a couple snacks, oatmeal, rice,,, whatever. The set is very well made and rugged, but not overly heavy. The lid has vents to let out steam, preventing boil overs and they work great for draining pasta. The folding handle locks the lid in place while carrying, preventing the contents from spilling out in your pack and locks in the open position during use. I usually cook directly on a campfire, but the pot works equally well on my pocket rocket and alcohol stoves. IMHO you can't go wrong with this set. I did have an issue with the bracket that holds the lift tab on the lid coming loose after a lot of use, actually the only issue I've had in 40 years of using Stanley products, but it was taken care of under Stanley's iron clad warranty and a new lid was sent to me very quickly. Unlike many other businesses today, Stanley customer service agents are wonderful to deal with. Great products, great warranty, and great customer service. You can't go wrong buying fron Stanley. Great Value Camping Pot For Solo Excursion

This is my favorite solo Excursion pot. I use this to brew my coffee, cook my meals and boil water. Does it all. My only gripe is that plastic tab on the lid, I've melted two. No big deal I just replace with some wire. If you check out Bill Outdoors on YouTube I present a Mod that converts this into a French press and takes almost no space in your pack.

Not Fit for Use, Poor Warranty Support

This camp pot came with a manufacturing defect (small dent that was far too small and in a very robust area that I do not believe could have been caused by handling or shipping) that resulted in a leak where the curved bottom meets the sidewalls. It looks like an incomplete weld. There was a similar "crack" in an area away from the dent on this same seam. A warranty ticket was submitted to Stanley and there has been no follow up two weeks later. I recommend against this product - there are several other options that will fill this need and not run the risk of having a defect that makes it unusable in the field.
