    Bell

It’s no secret that the key to any successful relationship is high quality, and frequent, communication. Bike trails and roads are no different, as they host multiple user groups — cyclists, runners, hikers, equestrians, etc., and who wants to risk accidents or trail access issues? Use of a quality bell can easily help you avoid unwanted conflict.

Engineered from the ground up to be the best possible bell, the Spurcycle Bell has re-established the bar for bells. It is crafted from premium brass and stainless steel in the good ‘ol USA. This durable bell has a distinctive, yet pleasant tone that resonates up to three times as long as most bells — an extended period whose effects are immeasurable while navigating crowded pedestrian malls or approaching blind corners or driveways.

    Put one on every bike

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Whether it's a commuter bike or a mountain bike, this is the bell to have. Period. It is good looking, well built, and most importantly it rings loud with a great tone. Save yourself from pedestrians who don't look both ways and/or from getting in a head-on accident when riding around a corner on the trail with this bell.

    Great for Annoying your Friends!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bell is crazy loud making it perfect for heckling your friends to go faster in front of you. In all seriousness, this bell is great for making your presence known going into blind corners on popular trails, or warning other riders/hikers/runners that you're coming up on them. It's a simple, yet courteous way to communicate with other people on the trail that has saved me from many awkward trail encounters. If you're riding on high traffic trails I'd highly recommend getting one!

    They hear me coming

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love this bell! Have it in black on my trail bike. Love the sound and easy to flick while coming down the trail to let others know you are there.

So good I have 5 of them

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have these on every bike in the house, hands down as good as it gets. The only issue I've had is on an incredibly wet day in the PNW, where it took a couple hits to knock the water out. I don't think any other bell would have fared better

    Clear the trail!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bell is perfect for Mountain Biking. The ring is loud but pleasant. I've actually had a couple of hikers compliment it! Great way to communicate with other trail users in a way that is pleasant. The bell followed by a "have a great day" has left me feeling better about the other humans I'm sharing the trails with.

    Stellar Ring!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Big purchase for a bike bell, but you won't regret it! The ring this bell gives off on the trail can't be missed by oncoming riders, and is low profile to fit nicely on any bike from a enduro to cruiser.

    The Bell for Audiophiles

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Like many, I had a hard time with the price tag of this thing but after I heard one live, I had to have it. The ring is clear and beautiful. I love my dropper post. I love my carbon wheels, but no other improvement makes me smile every time I use it like this bell. My 3 yr old rings the little bell on her bike constantly and this bell pretty much makes me do the same thing, feeling like a kid again. I absolutely love it.

    Impressive Ring

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Really love this thing. Gets the job done and more, there's a reason why these are always temporarily out of stock. While the price may seem intimidating at first, know that you're getting a bell that's well worth it. I've had one in the past and recently bought one for my wife. Can't imagine going with anything else at this point.

    Satisfies my inner nerd

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Really, a bell on a Time bike? This thing is tastefully small. The mount is delicate looking but robust. When I approach another rider from behind one clear ring is unmistakable as another bike. It's polite. It has really been useful when passing landscape crews and UPS drivers as they tend not to notice bikes while they are working. It actually makes them smile.

    Satisfies my inner nerd

    Loud with tricky installation

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Installing the bell was a little bit tricky, but this bell will definitely get people's attention.

Hello, welcome to my Spur Cycle bell review! You're probably scanning reviews, wondering how a bell can cost $50-60 dollars! I too, was a non believer, but am here to spread the good ding of the Spur Cycle Bell!

If you live in an area with high traffic (or remote and you want to keep away those scary bears), a bell is a great idea on a bike. My requirements were wanting one that was relatively subtle looking, was louder than an screaming infant, and could get used and abused on the trail and not instantly explode. Lets go through these to see how it fairs.

Low key looking: check. Its a bit more obvious than something like the Knog bells, but I had one that style that pretty instantly fell apart after one of the springs came out.

Loud Factor: DING DING (shout this out loud and will be close to as loud as this bell is). Yes, and it has a lovely after ring.

It has been through considerably more use than other my bells have and still truckin' along. Its easy to install and I've now bought them for literally all of my bikes.
