Recon 3.0 Mountain Bike Shoe

The Recon 3.0 uses a standard performance fit and is listed in men's sizing (women typically order about 1.5 US sizes down or select their EU size); some riders report a slightly larger fit, so check the brand size guide and consider sizing down if between sizes.

The Recon 3.0 is 2-bolt SPD compatible and will fit major MTB/gravel pedal systems, and it also has two optional mud-cleat mount points for better walking clearance.

The shoe has a carbon-infused plate with a stiffness index of 10.0 for race-level power transfer, while the Body Geometry sole/footbed improves alignment and is credited with a ~7-watt benefit; Carbon STRIDE toe-flex technology keeps the cleat pocket stiff for pedaling but allows toe/forefoot flex for natural walking.

The upper is XPEL water-resistant synthetic/mesh with a seamless/fully-welded construction (laser-perforated in some descriptions) for breathability, durability, and reduced pressure points, and closure comes via dual BOA® Li dials (Li2 or L6 routing) plus a hook-and-loop toe strap for micro-adjustable fit.
