So disappointed

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I had really high hopes that these would be my go to winter boots. I live in Colorado and on the days when we only get a few inches of snow I needed some cute boots to wear instead of my almost knee high Sorels. While these boots do look good they are extremely disappointing. If I’m outside for more than 15 minutes my toes get so cold! Doesn’t matter what socks I wear or even if I’m standing in snow - they are cold!! The leather needs constant care. They show every little water drop they get on them. Also good luck if you’re on any type of incline at all. The soles of these boots are slipppppery!! I’ve fallen just on my driveway several times in these. Normally Sorel makes a great product but they really dropped the ball on this one

Have you found any other shoes? Im looking for something like this to wear at work because I am in freezers all day. Normal tennis shoes have the thin breathable material and my feet FREEZE!

True to size

I ordered the black and while I thought they were cute in some ways, I ended up returning because I felt that they were also somewhat cheap looking. The fleece looked and reminded me of those old fashioned fleece blankets with the satin trim that I used to pick the pills off of when I was 7 and stayed home from achool when I was sick. This was the 70s and I don't think those blankets exist any longer thank goodness but why did sorel bring this look back for the trim? I also didn't care for the lack of support when I put my foot in them it just felt sloppy and loose and lacking any real structure. They have a very flat and thin sole which I'm not a fan of. I don't want to feel every rock or pebble that I might step on which of course I couldn't test but can only assume would happen with how thin the sole is. They look so rugged and chunky so its a weird feeling to be so at odds with how they look vs how they feel. The black is also very shiny but not in a good way, like shiny in a fake weird way. Not worth the high cost in my opinion. I'm glad to see a lot of other happy buyers of these booties so don't take my word for it. Try them and know you can always return them if they don't work for you.

So comfy!

I'm only giving 4 stars because I have not actually worn them out yet. BUT so far they are so comfy and cozy. They are cute and not super bulky looking on. Can't wait to wear them.

Nice boots,DON'T necessarily upsiz

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I followed the reviews to go up 1/2 size. If you have narrow smaller feet, you should probably stick with your normal size. 7 1/2 was too large, my size is 7.

Super comfortable with great style!

Kudos to Sorel for making this style TTS. I wear an 8.5 in almost every shoe and the 8.5 in this style fit best. Since Sorels have been running small, I bought both an 8.5 (in gray) and a 9 (in black) and while I could wear both, the 8.5 is a better fit with a medium weight wool sock. I wore them around the house as a test before going outside... and they're as comfortable as a slipper! For those who wear a size 8.5 like me, the size 9 will also fit if 8.5 is out of stock. Even though 8.5 is the better fit, I may also keep the black size 9 since the difference isn't significant. Happy with purchase!

Fabulous Hiking Boots for a Non-Hiker

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These boots are true to size, very warm (even for winter in New England), and most importantly, comfortable. My sister forced me into a hiking trip - and I am not a hiker - so naturally, I had to purchase hiking boots. These were very affordable and checked all the boxes. I highly recommend these boots!

Cute and comfortable

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought these as a replacement for ancient Bean boots. These far exceed my expectations.....especially the comfort level. They feel like slippers. So far, they seem to be very warm and on top of that , they are very cute so they work well for errands about town. I would say the color I received is lighter than I expected. I ordered the Elk and it really is more of a beige than a brown. I also would mention that the tread isn't too beefy so on icy days I would totally add a pair of Trekkers for security but all in all, these are just perfect for my dog walks and errands in Vermont.

Slip n’ slide Sorels

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

They’re cute, but a cheap shoe which is so disappointing as Sorel usually has high quality. I’ve been walking in the rain and slipped as the tread on these shoes have no traction. I know these are on the less expensive side of Sorel’s, but still a $130 shoe should have some sort of traction . If Sorel would put better traction on the shoes it definitely be a five.

Really cute look

Love the looks of these boots and can't wait for the season to hit where I can wear them all of the time.

Almost as expected

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I did have high expectations for this purchase and to be honest they almost hit all of points except the color. As some other reviews mentioned, color is not that rich brown chocolate, but more of an acorn... light brown. They are extremely comfy and wide. What I like in winter shoes to easy slide on and off. Style as expected, very contemporary and even with socks they still do look nice and girly not as other boots (Chaco) I ordered. They don’t have arch support as I find it very funny for my feet. I hope that they will keep up to their promise as I am going to explore the puddles and the slush very soon.
