I wear these shoes nearly every day in the winter in Chicago. The deep black suede looks sleek and works perfectly against snow, sleet, and rain. The grip on these shoes on the ice is decent. I love that they are light weight and cushioned well. I ordered a size 8 and feel as though they stretched a bit after the initial wear to an 8.5 if not 9. I am a size 8.5, so these fit me perfectly. No rubbing or break-in period. Plenty of space in the foot bed and toe box. Highly recommend the purchase, though consider buying a half size down.

Good walking shoe

The shoes are light weight comfortable enough. Due to foot sensitivity it would be great if softer linings were available.

This is a cool looking shoe and the comfort would have been great, but it felt tight for my wide size 11 foot. Even though the shoe was tight across the ball of the foot, the heel still slipped slightly. Had to return.

City shoes!

I’ve had 2 pair of these boots for a year and still love them. We live in the rainy PNW, so dry feet are a must. These are my “Seattle Day” shoes when going into the city. They are sturdy, super comfortable with ample foot cushioning, and most of all, DRY with their waterproofing. I like that the sole and heel give me a little height as I walk thru the city areas, and the grip is great for wet/slushy days.

These were a great buy! They are super comfortable, fit accordingly to usual size. I wear them both as a shoe at work and as boots. I am on my feet all day and I usually take my shoes off right away when I get home, but I find myself not wanting to take these off and wear them all night around the house! We have very cold winters where I live and they have kept my feet warm outside! I would highly recommend these shoe boots!

Wear light socks not for wide feet I find them very comfortable great for walks They look great. I will wear them in snow The treads are great and safe

Comfortable and waterproof!

I was looking for a waterproof bootie that could withstand a lot of walking. This is the perfect choice! I got them in tan and in black. Sporty looking. Both match trench coats that I have in my closet. I expect to be wearing them a lot in the rainy season. I'm very pleased with my purchases!

Dressier boot, excellent tread quality, waterproof & warm

I purchased these as a dressier looking boot for my upcoming trip to Switzerland, Germany & Amsterdam. They are very warm and comfortable. Very happy with my purchase. You can’t beat Sorel for quality & comfort!
