This helmet is perfect for
This helmet is perfect for our little one who wears glasses. It fits great and he wore it all day with no complaints.

Awesome helmet, prohibitive flaw
The helmet is nice, the visor concept is a game changer for kids with mittens. Unfortunately the visor is also it’s downfall. I had to remove the foam on the visor on the first use because it has enough flex to just lay right across the kids lower eyes. From there, if the visor we’re about an inch lower the field of vision would be significantly increased and the flexibility of the foam gasket wouldn’t be a problem. As it is my son usually leaves the visor up because he can’t see his ski’s well with it on. You can remove the visor and put goggles on, so it’s not a total loss.

Disapppointing
I bought two of these helmets for my sons (in part based on the positive review that the adult version received in Outside magazine). The plus side is that the helmet is very well made, warm, and nice looking. And no goggles flopping around the helmet. But we've found that the design of the visor makes it essential impossible to use with a balaclava: There's a thick layer of foam at the bottom of the visor, so when you slide the visor into place it either: (a) knocks the balaclava out of position so your kids get a cold nose, or (b) the balaclava keeps the visor from descending fully so that the foam blocks their peripheral vision. As a result, one of my sons uses the helmet with a balaclava but without the visor, and the other has gone back to his older (Smith) helmet and goggles. If you ski somewhere that isn't that cold, this could be a good option. But if your kids cover up when they ski, I think you'd be much better off buying a separate helmet and goggles.

Goggles don't line up with eyes
Maybe my kid has a big head but the goggles sit too high so the padding is right below his eyes. The chinstrap is set too far back so you can't really adjust the straps to get the helmet to sit down forward more. Returned!
