Why We Like The Smith I/O MAG Chromapop Goggles

We thought Smith's I/O couldn't get any better at keeping our eyes on the prize, snow or shine, and then the I/O MAG came along. The I/O MAG Chromapop Goggles come with all the same technological advantages as Smith's top-tier I/O series, now with a lens change system that's easier to use. Magnets placed throughout the frame resist natural forces when you're ripping around the mountain yet make midday lens changes a snap when the clouds roll in post-lunch.

Awesome in every respect. There

Awesome in every respect. There is a learning curve for changing the lense, and be careful where the strap attaches to frame. Love the everyday green and my storm lense is exceptional.

The stitching on the clip

The stitching on the clip failed right at the trailhead. The 5 minutes i had these on prior to failure, they were comfortable, provided great vision and i love the color ways offered this past season.

Best Goggles Ever

I bought these goggles last week in Snowmass when we had several days of snow and low visibility. What a difference they made. I've never been able to ski confidently in those conditions until now. Highly recommend.

Great goggles

The I/o mag goggles fit very nicely with my smith helmet. Making sure the strap is tight enough helps prevent any gapping and cold from getting in. The goggles have a large nice lens, providing great visibility without looking too large on my face. I think they look great and the style is simple and effective.

Go-to goggle

The old, go-to goggle. Reliable (and Smith takes care of you in the rare instance that it isn't) & I have so many lenses for any & all light conditions from owning several pairs over the last decade. Please keep them on the shelf, Smith!

Horrible Strap, 3/3 broke in the first season

Ive owned 3 pair of these, and every single one has broken at the clasp in the middle of the strap. I don't know any skier or snowboarder who wants their goggles to to separate in the middle of the strap. This function is useless as a ski goggle, or really any goggle for that matter. I really wish smith would just get rid of this function. When this clasp breaks, and I emphasize the when not if, the goggles become a useless paperweight. These Lenses are so amazing, but if the strap constantly breaks, the goggle as a whole is useless.

Replacement

These were a replacement for a first pair that the sticky on the strap melted off all over my helmet. So far these are holding up

Durable Goggles

Nice goggles. I work as a ski instructor and appreciate the durability of the goggles and how easy it is to swap lenses. Matched with a Smith helmet, the fit is perfect with no cold air getting in. The lenses have great optics and have never fogged up on me.
