Strange item
I love every item I have from Smartwool except this one. I love the way it looks, but that's just about it. Its too scratchy for short sleeves, no lining so it pulls up long sleeves, very warm until the wind blows, and too warm to layer. Not the item for me and would not recommend.

Very very warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very warm, pretty thick. Best for very cold weather as a midlayer, or as an outer layer in brisk temps.

Will buy another for sure...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect weight and fit-- I have the vest version of this-- this works great on a 50 degree day with a tshirt underneath it. 6'3" 205#... Large fits great--- not to tight but not baggy. When on sale-- these are a great value.

Good, thick fleece
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It wasn't what I wanted, but if I needed a thicker fleece, this would be perfect.

Avoid as it's not warm for autumn/winter!!
It looks nice and relatively soft but that's it. XL was tight while XXL was better. Sleeves are inline so shirt sleeves are pulled up! It's < 50% wool and very thin that there's hardly any warmth especially for the cold temps in autumn & winter. Probably made for warm weather wear. It's overpriced and expensive for < 50% wool and insulting to customers. Returned! Company false sells 'wool' products that have < 90% wool but does so because it does technically has some % of wool which is misleading! Worse, it then sells it at a high price!
