Great coat, but I'd make a few minor improvements.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the texture of the fabric; semi-dressy. The lined sleeves are fantastic and prevent a sweater from hanging up as you pull on the coat. Very warm for its weight. Ideal for the transition periods, i.e., Spring and Fall. Side pockets are adequately roomy and deep, so even when unzipped things remain in them. When it's chilly and windy you can feel it in the body, but no so much in the arms, which is likely due to lining. Wish Smartwool had lined the entire coat. The exterior chest pocket is too small and oriented horizontally. It will hold a pair of glasses, but not a smartphone. I'd prefer a larger pocket oriented vertically so that I could easily store and access phone. I'm 5'11" and have a 45" chest/34" waist. I find it difficult getting the best fit between L and XL; depends on manufacturer. Despite Smartwool's size guide suggesting I opt for the XL it was very roomy and way, way too long in the sleeves, whereas the L fits very well. If Smartwool would add a liner to the entire jacket and fix the chest pocket I'd give it a 5 star plus! Regardless, I really like the coat and it's definitely a keeper.

I love this jacket!
This is a great jacket for everyday activities. Lined sleeves make it easy to put on, and the weight is great for anything above freezing. I'm 6'2", 210 lbs, and the XL fits me perfectly. Some reviewers said that the sleeves were long but they're perfect for me. Thinking about buying another but it seems there are limited sizes available now.

Sleeves too long
As another reviewer pointed out, the sleeves are bizarrely long. Also the Whiskey is a dull brown color, not the brighter, shinier color shown on the web page images. Otherwise, it seems well-made. It's a bit thinner than I wanted, and I don't have a sense of how warm it'll be since I'm sending it back because of the sleeves. But I imagine it provides very little warmth in even the slightest breeze because of its thinness.
