When we stride above the treeline, exposed to icy ridgeline winds, the Smartwool Active Fleece Wind Tight keeps our muscles primed. The woolly construction wicks and breathes to keep us from overheating and insulates even when wet, so we don't get overchilled when snapping pics. Armored with windproof front panels, our thighs and knees get the added protection they need for pain-free miles, while the side pockets offer bounce-free storage along the way.

I would buy this product again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these to fit under my too big Betty Rides pants - lost 15 lbs and I don't want to give up the pants that are too big now. The Betty Rides aren't made anymore have been GREAT ski pants. This product fits snugly on top of my underlayer pants. They move with me and kept me warm in 20 degree temps. I ordered a Medium. I'm 5 ft 6 and 140 - fit me perfectly. Love the zippers on the pockets and the zippers on the calves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Nordic ski and mountain bike pants is what I use them for. I can wear them in any kind of weather. the zipper is versatile and there's two pockets on either side pocket zips they did move the pockets higher up closer to my hip. the waistband is wide and comfortable and has an adjusting cord the wind in the front keeps me warm going downhill. they feel like butter. I love my Merino wool, no itch antimicrobial Dry Wick fire resistant, water resistant, all natural Merino wool sustainable! I own three pair!

I loved my first pair but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great tights and my second pair. There are some design changes from the pair I purchased about 3 years ago and I'm not really a fan. One is that there is no longer drawstring in the waist band. I am constantly pulling this pair up. If I put anything in the pocket like my phone, they slide right off. they are extremely comfortable and as I am a sewer I intend to put a drawstring in them.

The perfect cold-weather base layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for a trip to Finland and am so glad I did!! These were the perfect base layer to my insulated snow pants. Comfortable, not bulky and so warm. Will wear these at home alone for walks and mild days snow shoeing.
