Great insulated jacket

This is a great jacket. It does run on the large side. I wear the G3 wading jacket in a large and bought this one in medium due to other reviews. The medium is the right size. I’m 5’8” and weigh 185.

Wow, what a great jacket for fishing.

Exceeded expectations!!! I just fished in the rain all day for a tournament and stayed warm and dry. Fits great, can cast all day wearing it without discomfort. I really like this jacket.

Outstanding purchase!

My first purchase of Simms gear did live up to the hype. This jacket has preform while out lobster fishing this winter as well as an everyday rain jacket during our El Ni??o winter. Highly recommend for fishermen who know fish bite in the rain.

I wish it was insulated a bit heavier. I’m in a northern climate and I have to wear multiple layers underneath to handle cold weather (30-40 degrees F) Jacket is well made, fits a bit large to size but it is a quality garment.

Ease of movement

The comfort of this well insulated parka is second to none! There are a lot of high quality parkas like this in the market but what sets this apart is the ease of movement. I’ve only worn a couple of times but so far it’s a 5-star!

You stay warm and dry just like they said it would!

I bought this as a Christmas for my husband, the fisherman and he absolutely loves it. Tested it out on a cold, rainy day walking by the river with the dog. He stayed warm and dry, however the dog, not so much!

Simply put, the perfect cold weather jacket. As a guide in upstate NY I depend on quality clothing to keep me warm in cold wet conditions and this jacket fits the bill.
