I recently purchased a 25L Dry Creek Bag and did so because two of my friends have the same bag. Their bags came with pockets on either end of the bag for extra storage. The bag I just purchased has the mounting brackets for the pockets but didn't come with the pockets. Simms corporate just told me that they no longer make the additional pockets even thou the bag has mounting brackets for pockets. One of the reasons I purchased the bag was for the extra pockets. Consequently, I'm returning the bag.

Tough, sheds water, best you'll find
Highly recommended if you're looking for a boat bag and comparing this to other similar ones on the market. The overhang creates a drip edge that sheds water away even when it isn't zipped up, and the magnetic closure is a really nice touch. They also put a bomber coating and some feet on the bottom (big improvement from the old model) so it can slide around on the floor of the boat and not wear through and leak from the bottom. I'd love it to be a touch bigger like the old style was, but this is still a great size to gold all your gear.

It’s a great bag , I could use one a bit bigger to be honest. Wish the zippers were a bit beefier. But that’s been a problem with every boat bag I’ve owned. Simms makes great products!

I got many years of service out of my old one. This one is built to last even longer. Very thoughtful improvements!

The zipper on the lid was better on the old style. These zipper are hard to get stuff in and out of

Bullet Proof
The Dry Creek Boat bag is a winner. I use it in my drift boat. The magnetic latch is genius. Easy access to flies, etc. inside. Wrap around zippers provide secure closure when I am carrying it from my rig to my drift boat. If I’m changing patterns, I can stick the bugs to the Velcro patches on top of the bag. Allows me to see what’s working and what isn’t. The fabric is bullet proof.
