Awesome coat, really warm and it keeps your dry! It does run big, but it’s built so you can have multiple layers underneath. I do wish it had some Pockets on the inside. Overall great coat that I can use anywhere when it’s cold

Exactly what I wanted
The Simms Insulated Fishing jacket is exactly what I have been looking for to wear for late fall and early spring open water fishing. I tested it out the first week of October fishing a lake near the Canadian border just as a cold front with rain and high winds arrived. The jacket proved to be both warm and dry. It does run bit large but allows for additional layering as the temp drops further. Can't wait to test it out on Green Bay next spring!

It’s great
I wear the Simms Challenger Insulated Fishing Jacket in late September and October in Western Alaska running all over in the rivers and lakes in an open boat. Snow is moving down the mountains and this jacket is awesome. As the temperatures drop and things freeze up it will be great for layering under.

Used this during the 2021 freeze in Texas and for abnormally cold winter morning boat rides. Performed flawlessly, never got cold and stayed comfortable all day.

Great jacket
Third Simms raincoat, one is 30 years old and still going strong. Can’t go wrong with Simms products!

Warm, convenient, comfortable. But it is slightly larger than my other Simms jackets in size M.

Great product
Great product for your money. Thoughtful style. Holds water very well. Full-length and this is very important to me. Definitely recommend for cold and wet weather.

Warm jacket! Runs very large.
Jacket runs very large. I’m 5’9” 190lbs and I originally bought a Large jacket and had to return it for a Medium. Even a medium is slightly big on me. Very warm and comfortable jacket though!

Keeps you dry and blocks the wind. It is much warmer than the non insulated challenger jacket. Great for cold weather.
