Why We Like The Challenger 7in Boot

For days spent fishing, we skip the hassle of laces and slide into the Simms Challenger 7in Boot. This boot maximizes slip resistance with a rugged deck rubber outsole, and stabilizes your foot thanks to a Right Angle footbed promoting proper alignment. The vulcanized rubber upper reaches seven inches up your leg to block out water that may splash aboard, and has a neoprene lining for constant comfort. Plus, for added convenience, Simms gave these waterproof boots a pull-on loop to get you in and out in seconds.

  • Siped outsole provides traction and grip on all surfaces
  • Vulcanized rubber deflects splashes and bolsters protection

not ideal for harsh conditions, as a fishing guide

great while they lasted but didn’t last long… i’m a fishing guide and these were great waterproof comfortable boots until they started cracking, splitting, discolouring and are now completely useless as they aren’t waterproof anymore. lasted me 2 months of the season

Good boots and comfortable. I usually wear size 9.5 and ordered 9. Fit great. I don’t use in cold weather if I did I’d order size 10 for that.

These boots catch fish

These boots have been great for me and for some reason my catch % has been off the charts since putting these on! Great grip on slimy boats and docks, so far I like these way better then xtratuff and grunden boots of the same style, a little harder to get on but the durability is worth it.

Outstanding Boot

Wide toe box for my orthotics, firm and supportive underfoot and not too hot for 80 degree weather,

Great boots that last

Great boots wear them everyday as I’m a charter Capt on lake mi, last way longer then me xtra tuffs ever did, bottom doesn’t wear out and tops don’t crack. Order a size up if you have wide feet or want to wear thick socks, kinda slim fit but fit perfectly for me. Love the skinny top so your rain bibs don’t get in between your boot and ankle.

I’m on my 2nd pair in less than a year. These are only good if you plan on wearing them once a month on your bass boat, not meant for constant use. The rubber started out cracking in several spots and now the sole is falling off and is no longer waterproof. I rely on these boots on the water as well as getting to my classes on adverse days and they were great for a couple months until they began to crack and split. I made a warranty claim and the new pair did the same thing within 2-3 months of getting them. Honestly a let down.
