Very well made
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I have only used the cup so far, but it seems sturdy enough. Obviously you need to use some care due to its collapsible nature, but it sits well in the hand, although a bit too much heat comes through the side as it is not the cool touch cup. Holds plenty of liquid, washes easily. Base of bowl seems solid for cutting, bowl itself is a decent size. Everything packs down nicely into a mess bag. Happy with the purchase but rediscovered my old girl scout mess kit after ordering this and the pans make great plates/cook pans/bowls. Not sure if I’ll use the bowl at this point but that is not a fault of the product.

Easy to pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love all X-set things. Easy to pack for moto trips or to just have in the truck with the camping stuff

This is a yes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is a gift, I already have two sets for my husband and I. So small and packable but still . Sturdy and lightweight. Easy to clean up and stores nearly flat. Smart design.

X-Set Montana
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X-Set 3-piece fit in my backpack and performed great on my 12 day Elk hunt in in Montana. There were 5 of us and we all had a set.

Good Scout mess kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the simplicity of this set. I bought it for my son’s mess kit in Scouts and it saves him lots of room in his pack.

Great products
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been working great. Order these as I travel for work and do a lot of Backcountry fly fishing. They have worked great in both camping and hotel living. Pack up nicely and everything.

Great for the Frequent Mover and Daily Use
I'm a college student and have two of these sets. I use these daily and this is my only bowl set. I can see it lasting a few years from daily use. The bottoms double as a cutting board. Takes hot and cold items very well. Very compact and lightweight as promised. I wish they sold this kind of stuff specifically for college students. I feel silly using this daily, but it works so well! And it's so easy to move dorms with!
