Great tent, but failed to keep dry during storm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tent is built with amazing material, it is sturdy and looks very durable while also being fairly lightweight for it’s materials. I had read online that they had hd a water infiltration during a storm I. Patagonia while trying it out. I assumed the storm they had was something else and that it was not likely to happen here in the US. The first time I tried it out, we got stormy weather and a lot of rain - I was so excited to camp in the rain. But quickly, the water started coming in. We had a lot of rain, but it was a pretty standard storm for northern canada and Vermont . The rain came through the air vent (as pictured on one of the photos) and was leaking steady on our sleeping bags all night. We ended up having to place a towel (pic) under that closed and zipped vent to stop the leak. In the morning, there was a lot of condensation on the rain cover of the tent that was also leaking through the bug fly (which is the only fabric between un and the rain cover of the tent). No need to say I was disappointed. I have however contacted customer service and, as usual, STS service is incredible. They are currently evaluating the tent and will let me know in the upcoming week if it is a design fault or something with the specific tent I received.

Fantastic tent for travel and backpacking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ikos - TR2 is a great tent with an awesome design and effective tarp. Two people are able to comfortably sit up in the tent because of the unique design allowing for ample headroom. A cargo loft keeps small items off of the tent floor, and the venting is appreciated. Lightweight and compact, it fits into a duffle bag, with sleeping bags, pillows, kitchen and clothing for two! Perfect for car or airplane travel.
