Tested and passed
I posted a review when I received the bag in April. Now i have field tests to pass along. The buckles are very well designed and held up well with hiking trails, constant open and closing. The only thing i see that can be improved is the bottom band needs a clip loop or carabiner spot so it can be solely held in one spot. I hike and clip it to the outside of my pack and noticed after five hikes (10miles each) the bag loop was coming apart from sliding back and fourth on my pack as I hike. It has not came apart but may if I continued to carry it that way. Now i stuff it inside my pack to prevent damage. The sack has not failed in the dry storage performance. Nothing to improve there. The quality has outperformed some other brands i have used in the past. Thank you to Sea to Summit for making gear that works.

I bought the 6-quart and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 6-quart and 10-quart compression bags, using the smaller for underwear and socks, and the larger for other clothes. They make a huge difference on the size of my backpack/suitcase. Easy to close and open. I plan to buy another 10-quart, maybe two.

Great dry bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this bag on a 12 day backpacking trip. I kept my clothing in it and was hoping to keep everything dry. We were stuck in 3 thunderstorms and it did as expected. Also worked great as a pillow to reduce pack weight.

Great bag, works well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this bag recently, and first tried it out in the opposite way it was supposed to be used, in that I put a wet swimsuit and towel in it after a pool session, and the outside of the bag (and everything the bag touch) stayed dry! I used it again this past weekend to pack my sleeping bag and pillow, and both fit just fine and fluffed right back up when I took them out. The thing I like most about this dry bag is that two of the straps now have clips on them, which makes it a lot easier to use than the version of this bag I got 10+ years ago. I am much more likely to use this newer version now that I have it, as it's super easy to use, and seems to work really well in terms of keeping water in/out.

Does the job perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fits my 15 degree down sleeping bag perfectly and keeps it dry and compact in the bottom of my pack/in my bikepack drybag/inside my pack raft tube. I can fit my small pillow in there also, along with my “sacred socks” that I wear while sleeping.

Does what it's supposed to
I took this out a couple of times section hiking the AT in New Jersey and it was great for organization and kept my sleeping bag and layers dry. It lets air out but it takes a while and I never had the patience to wait before packing it. I would usually pack it in my bag with some air still in it and it would be gone when I compressed it and took it out later in the day.

No need to evac when you pack the EVAC!
I have been using the EVX 13 L dry bag when paddling, climbing, camping and bikepacking. This bag is amazing! It is light, tough and above all keeps the weather out. I took this out on a multi-day bikepacking trip which turned into a multi-day snow and rain event. I stored my down jacket and other "need to stay dry so you don't cry" items in it (down jacket/pants). Everything stayed perfectly dry. The compression straps allow me to get my gear into small areas in my bike bags without compromising the integrity of my gear. The compression straps worked super smooth, no twisting or locking up. I travel to remote locations, most of the time solo (unless guiding). I need to know that I can count on my gear to keep me in the backcountry as long as I want and not have to leave due to equipment failure or poor design. The EVAC bag is amazing. I am going to purchase more and I highly recommend it to anyone that spends time exploring, or traveling in areas you know the weather will test and punish the your gear.

Reliable
I've been using compression dry bags for roughly 20 years and sea to summit has one of the best products available. Their dry bags are durable, effective, and reliable. If moisture is a factor, I will always bring this dry bag.
