Why We Like The Sea To Summit Ascent Sleeping Bag

The Sea to Summit Ascent lightweight backpacking bag impresses us with its premium down, relaxed mummy shape, and versatile zipper system. It features 19.4 ounces of responsibly sourced, 750-fill duck down that's treated with a durable water repellent to minimize the risk of moisture ruining our bag's lofty insulation. Vertical baffles in the chest prevent the insulation from shifting away from our core while an oversized hood and draft collar seal in our body heat to keep us safe down to 15 degrees. We also like the relaxed mummy shape, which gives us a little more to room while still minimizing weight and bulk for easier packing. Finally, the bag's Free-Flow trip zip system lets us fold down the top third of the bag for maximum ventilation, ventilate our feet, open the bag fully for more comforter-like use, or pair with women-specific right-hand zip models, such as the Sea to Summit Altitude, Journey, and Venture sleeping bags.

A fabulous sleeping bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as you open the bag this feels like a high quality sleeping bag. The material is super soft and doesn’t sound scratchy so it’s not noisy when rolling over. The down lining is very warm so like it says it will be perfect for cold weather camping. The versatility of all of the zippers and openings make this not only a sleeping bag but a comfy blanket or almost coat that could be easily worn sitting by the campfire. I love the fact that it comes with both a compact bag for traveling and a storage bag as that allows for both easy travel and storage.

Warmth, Durability, Packability. 💚

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Sea to Summit Ascent Down Sleeping Bag Unisex for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review, and I couldn't be happier with it! No more renting gear when my husband and I go camping on Catalina Island or explore the parks in California. First and foremost, the comfort of this sleeping bag is unparalleled. It feels incredibly soft and cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep even in cooler temperatures. The insulation is top-notch, keeping me warm without overheating, which is perfect for the varying climates we encounter on our trips. In terms of durability, the quality of the materials used is evident. It’s built to withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures and has held up beautifully against rough terrain and frequent use. Additionally, the sleeping bag's versatility is a huge plus. It adapts well to different sleeping conditions, making it a reliable companion whether we’re in a tent or under the stars. The packaging was also impressive. It came compactly packed, making it easy to store and transport without taking up too much space in our gear. Overall, I highly recommend the Sea to Summit Ascent Down Sleeping Bag for anyone looking to enhance their camping experience with comfort, durability, and versatility.

What a Sleeping bag!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was amazed at the lightness of this sleeping bag. Honestly I was all doubts at its durability and versatility but boy was I wrong. I have never been kept so warm and comfortable while camping. The design is amazing, especially the little pouch foe necessitates when your all zippes up. My whole family will be using one of these next trip. Thank ya'll.

Super warm, cozy and lightweight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this sleeping during winter and still using in Utah. Lastly, I camped at Zion and I had a great experience for all of my stays. Firstly, the size is super good, I’m 5’5, 140lb and I still have a lot of room. The sleeping bag is really easy to pack and carry and as a plus lightweight! I didn’t have any problem while hiking it too. It incredibly soft and you can use the zipper to open anywhere. When I wake up I usually just wanna keep my feet open, and with this bag, I can do that easily just by using the zipper for the feet! So far, after camping in the wild, nothing happened to it, so it is durable and deserves the money. I am kind of a person who is cold all the time but after starting to use this sleeping bag, I don’t get cold at nights but I have to add, I use my sleeping pad under my sleeping bag, this couple is like the perfect combo! I can’t wait to use it more!! Highly highly recommended!

Warm but folds super small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sleeping bag is incredible! I’ve never had such a light bag before. I’m so used to those horrible thick flannel sleeping bags, but this bag is filled with down and can squish down to be super small and compact. it is absolutely perfect for backpacking because it is so small. What’s crazy is that it keeps you incredibly warm and you don’t sweat! No thick material, just high-quality down feathers keeping you insulated and warm. Love the mummy shape too as there’s no excess pointless fabric to worry about.

Best sleeping bag ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best sleeping bag ever! It’s super warm and i love how it has a hood arm holes and feet holes so you can walk around while wearing it. It packs down super nicely for backpacking and i love that you can zip two of them together as well. I’ve never had a nice sleeping bag but let me tell you this is so worth the price to actually be warm while camping or backpacking.
