    Premium comfort.

Sea to Summit designed its Aeros Premium Pillow to keep your head secure and comfortable while you sleep on backpacking trips. This inflatable pillow features a brushed polyester shell that's both durable and super soft against your skin. Sea to Summit added some synthetic fill between the case and TPU bladder in order to maximize your comfort and wick moisture. The curved internal baffles make sure you wake up with your head on top of the pillow instead of some twig on the ground, and a scalloped bottom edge lets you sleep comfortably on your side as well as your back.

    Premium Sleep

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Like others, I was reluctant to splurge on a camp pillow as I've always resorted to using a random stuff sack that I have laying around on trips. I was converted after my first use with the Aeros Premium! This pillow is super easy and quick to inflate / deflate and provides just enough support for a good night's rest. The cover is soft and provides a nice feel on your face after a long day.

    Must have

I was always a skeptic of the camp pillow. As someone who likes to consider himself a minimalist I thought that a dry sack stuffed with clothes would always suffice. After a few nights of sleeping with this guy I'll never go back. The plush face fabric is super comfy and it fits perfectly into a mummy bag.

      Makes a world of difference!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This pillow is great. It is so lightweight and nice to sleep on. It adds very little weight and makes backcountry sleeping really comfortable. It sure beats packing a stuff sack with clothing to act as a pillow. I am so pleased with it I just bought another one as a gift.

      Worth the extra grams...

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm a first time pillow user when it comes to a using one on a pack trip. The Aeros Premium definitely added a comfort factor that made the small amount of weight and space it took up in my pack a non issue. Getting the air dialed in was easily accomplished and after one night my neck was thanking me for the new addition to my gear list.

      Surprisingly Comfy

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Wasn't sure if I was going to like this pillow because it's inflatable, but it's actually pretty comfortable. Super compact too, so perfect for backpacking. Really soft and forms to fit your neck.

      Hear Me Out Now...

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I love Sea to Summit. They make some of the best gear. I read the reviews and thought this pillow would be amazing. Unfortunately it twas not meant to be. I'm a side-sleeper/stomach sleeper/tosser and tuner, and while this pillow was incredibly light and super soft, it gave me too much support. It didn't quite jive with my sleeping style. I gave it a few tries, decided it wasn't the perfect fit, and gifted it to a friend who sleeps on her back. We took it backpacking - she loved it! She used to do the whole stuff-all-your-clothes-in-your-stuff-sack pillow deal, but as soon as she laid her head down on this little cloud, I could see she was an Aeros believer. "Besides my boyfriend, this is my new favorite backpacking companion!"

      Small, but soft and supportive

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Once I played around with the ideal amount of air, this was a great pillow to have while camping. It's small, but fits nicely inside a mummy bag, which is what I was wanting. It packs down to nearly nothing at all, and the fabric is really soft and cozy. I didn't have any neck pains in the morning either. Really pleasantly surprised by this one.

      Must Have for Backpacking

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The sea to summit aeros pillow is a must have for all your ultralight backpacking pillow needs! It weighs practically nothing and packs down to the size of a couple cliff bars. whether you are a thru hiker on the AT or a weekend warrior this pillow is one of the most comfortable I have found. 4 out of 5 for comfort. 5 out of 5 for quality and weight.

      Impressive and Essential

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It is pretty amazing to get such a comfortable pillow that is light and packs into a tiny bag. For years I just used my jacket as a pillow and this raises the bar for comfort in the back country. The aeros is on the smaller side so if you want more surface area look at different models. The valve system to inflate is super simple and easy to use. Do yourself a favor and get one.

      Worth every cent!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you're trying to convince someone to like backpacking, buy them this pillow. Good nights sleep is 90% of the battle, and this is the ticket. Inflates quickly, reliably holds air throughout the night, is soft, and packs up tiny. This little pocket pillow also comes with me to all air travel and is great if you have the window seat! No need to buy any other pillow, this one does it all.

To sleep or not to sleep

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For me, a good pillow is the difference between sleeping or not sleeping. I will never go without my sea to summit pillow again. I love the soft fabric against my face. I am able to inflate/deflate according to my needs each night. It packs down so small and lightweight! It's a no brainer!

      My gear of the year

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've spent far more on gear than I'd like to admit over the last couple years and this may just be my favorite piece of gear. The word incredible doesn't do it justice. Extremely small and light and most important comfortable. I've only used it on 1 trek so my only concern is if it ever popped. The double valve makes it easy to inflate or deflate. A must have!!!

      So Far, So Comfy

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Haven't been able to take it real camping but I have taken a little nap on it at home. Inflating is super easy and deflating is even easier. Packs up really small so you wouldn't even notice it in your pack. Very comfy and very soft. Glad I picked this up for camping.

      De Valve! De Valve!

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My mom picked up this swanky inflatable pillow this year and she says it offers a superlative sleeping experience.

I haven't spent the night with it but I've handled the Aeros and I'm impressed with the quality.

Material choice is critical. Sea to Summit wisely chose a soft polyester for the exterior, it's softer than my home pillow. It's utterly baffling to me that so many backpacking pillows have nylon shells - it's like their designers have never encountered a pillow in real life.

The valve is impressive. I believe it's the same valve used on Sea to Summit's new sleeping pad line. The valve is stacked, open the top door to reveal a one-way valve - you blow in but no air comes back out, very efficient and speedy inflation. Open the second door and the air comes rushing out - even speedier deflation.

I wish every inflatable had a Sea to Summit valve.

There's something unsettling to me about the movement of inflatables, so I'm not yet sold myself. However, Mom has been so happy with it that I reckon I'll have to take The Aeros Premium Pillow for a spin sometime soon.
