    Vertic GTX 3L Hooded Jacket

When a powder day rolls through all you need are your skis, headphones, and the Scott Vertic GTX 3L Jacket. Scott's most technical freeride jacket, the Vertic boasts a burly three-layer construction with a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproof protection and breathable comfort. Fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing moisture from seeping through when you're plowing through the deeps.

In case you get too warm in your pursuit of fresh flakes, Scott hooked the Vertic up with long zippers under each arm for sufficient ventilation. The powder skirt detaches so the jacket can connect to Scott's compatible pants, just in case there's too much powder for the skirt to handle. There are adjustments at the cuffs, hem, and helmet-compatible hood to seal out snow, and internal wrist gaiters with thumbholes enhance coverage and comfort.

    • Technical freeride jacket for comfort and performance in powder
    • Gore-Tex membrane blocks moisture for dry comfort through deep snow
    • Adjustable hood fits over helmets to add protection during storms
    • Underarm venting helps regulate temperature on long, deep runs
    • Neck gusset with laser cut venting adds comfort and breathability
    • Articulated sleeves enhance freedom of movement when pole planting
    • Pack friendly seamless shoulders ensure comfort in the backcountry
    • Internal stretch knit cuffs with thumbholes seal out the elements
    • Item #SCO00ST

    Legit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"

I bought a ton of jackets to try on and this was the winner. Exactly what a technical shell should be. Love that the length is long enough in the back to cover me when I'm bending way over to pick up my kids and untangle their skis. The collar can be adjusted to be wide or tight so snow doesn't accumulate. It has thumbholes in the sleeves under the cuffs. The sizing is either true to size or slightly large. I usually wear a Small jacket and this size Small was plenty roomy. Now I just wish I could afford to keep it.

    Best Ski Shell

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: US MED
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I love this jacket, its one of the best I've owned. Its comfortable and high quality. I would suggest sizing down as I think it runs big. I got a size smaller than usual and still had plenty of room for layering.

    Quality meets style

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 125lbs

The best looking women's jacket in the market. Waterproof. Functional. Great fit. Stylish. Flattering.
The jacket has a longer torso eliminating that weird bunching thing that happens where ski jacket and ski pants meet. Love it.

    Great fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 127lbs

Sizing on this is regular. I would say in most brands I am a medium but I fit in a small in this jacket. It is a little longer so it has a Freeride look to it, but it is also really technical. I take this touring and it packs up really small in my pack. I also wear this in the resort and it looks really cool!

    Love this Jacket

This jacket fits great and has kept me warm and dry on super cold and wet days. I also love the fit of the hood with the gusset to allow extra room for a scarf or neck warmer.
