This integrated-gaiter, automatic crampon-compatible ice climbing boot holds nothing back and is the end result of combining multiple game-changing technologies. The waterproof super gaiter upper is made with S-Tech Schoelle Ecorepel Bio fabric and features PU Tek Technology and HDry Lamination for complete weather protection. PrimaLoft Gold and micropile insulation keep our feet toasty on cold ascents, and a carbon Tech 3 SL insole combines carbon fiber, Aerogel, and EVA foam to block out the cold from the bottom of the boot. Vibram's Precision Tech Roll outsole uses a 2-piece, dual-density midsole for the best combination of cushioning and stability. At the same time, Vibram's Durastep rubber tread compound gives us uncompromising traction on steep ice and snow. Scarpa's Sock-Fit XT technology keeps our foot secure and snug inside the boot, and their Fast Lock system allows us to quickly tighten the inner boot for an effortless fit. Finally, with a staggeringly low weight, the boot pair tips the scale at just 800 grams.
